The typical patient journey begins with an initial consultation during which the physiotherapist assesses your presenting condition — whether a hand injury, wrist pain, nerve entrapment such as carpal tunnel syndrome, or post-surgical rehabilitation. You will normally complete an intake form covering your medical history, symptom onset, and functional limitations before the therapist conducts a hands-on assessment and recommends a treatment plan. Sessions may be offered individually or as a package depending on the nature and duration of your condition; it is worth confirming the cancellation and no-show policy at the outset.
To take the next step, reach out to Advance Hand Wrist & Nerve Centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to book an initial consultation and ask about session fees, available appointment slots, and whether a GP referral is needed for insurance purposes.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Always feel at ease whenever im here for my therapy! Thanks Clarence for taking good care of my hand and the small talks to keep the session fun! Thanks Shan for being super flexible in our scheduling process and always keeping a smile whenever we come & go!
Clarence is a highly skilled and patient hand therapist who played a crucial role in my recovery from a torn finger ligament. When I first started therapy, I could not bend my fingers at all, and everyday tasks were extremely difficult. He carefully assessed my condition and guided me through each stage of rehabilitation with clear explanations and reassurance, which gave me confidence throughout the process. Through his structured therapy sessions, consistent encouragement, I gradually regained mobility and strength, progressing from not being able to bend my fingers to being able to bend them again. I am very grateful for his help and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of hand therapy or rehabilitation
I would like to compliment the physiotherapist, Clarence. Through his clear explanations, guidance and encouragements, I am able to recover the mobility and strength in my hand. Last but not least, the follow-ups on appointments by the receptionist, Shan, are very well done and hassle-free. Overall, a very good and pleasant experience. Thank you.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my therapist Clarence, for the exceptional support throughout my DQT therapy journey. From the pre to post OP up and down sessions i’ve been through, he consistently brought a friendly and cheerful demeanor to each interactions. Tracking our progress diligently, tailoring the exercises that best suited for me even took some videos to practise at home, and answering to all my questions and doubts proactively. His dedication to providing both professional care and emotional encouragement made the entire process smooth and successful. The receptionist, Mdm.Christina is also very friendly, caring and helpful when scheduling every appointments, especially for me as a cross-border patient. I’m truly grateful for the unwavering support and the positive experience they created during my recovery at Advanced Rehabilitation Centre. A great team that feels like home. Most private physiotherapy clinics in Singapore, including specialist hand and nerve centres, accept self-referrals without a GP letter. However, if you intend to claim from an integrated shield plan, employee benefits scheme, or MediSave (where applicable for certain conditions), a referral from a registered medical practitioner can strengthen your claim and may be required by your insurer. On your first visit you will typically complete an intake form and undergo a clinical assessment covering range of motion, grip strength, nerve function, and pain mapping before any treatment begins. Bring any relevant imaging reports, specialist letters, or previous physiotherapy notes, as these help the therapist design an accurate and targeted programme from the outset.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at Ministry of Health's website. A valid AHPC registration confirms that the practitioner has met the required educational and clinical standards and is subject to professional disciplinary oversight. No regulatory licences are listed for Advance Hand Wrist & Nerve Centre in the current KakiList data, so it is advisable to ask the clinic directly for the treating physiotherapist's full name and AHPC registration number, then cross-check on the public register before your first appointment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
