About AICEL
AICEL is a maid agency based in Eunos, offering islandwide helper placement services in Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified, and AICEL holds a 4/5 rating across 42 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. No regulatory licence details are currently recorded on this listing, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed, which prospective clients should note before engaging.
When working with a maid agency, the key steps are to verify the agency's MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and to understand the full cost picture: placement fees for a new-hire helper typically run S$1,500–3,500, while a transfer helper placement is generally lower at S$500–1,500. On top of placement fees, households pay the helper's monthly salary (typically S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy — S$300 at the standard rate, or S$60 at the concessionary rate for households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability. Confirm what is bundled into AICEL's package — such as mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical exam, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed separately.
Contact AICEL by phone or via the enquiry form to confirm the EA Licence number, current helper profiles, source-country availability, and the replacement guarantee terms before proceeding.
Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.

AICEL uses a package pricing model. For a new-hire helper, placement fees in the Singapore market typically run S$1,500–3,500; for a transfer helper already in Singapore, the placement fee is generally lower at S$500–1,500. Contact AICEL directly to confirm their current fee schedule. Beyond the one-off placement fee, the ongoing monthly costs include the helper's salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household has a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm what is bundled into the package — mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical exam, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed on top. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. No licence details are currently recorded on AICEL's KakiList listing, so you should ask AICEL for their EA Licence number and verify it directly on the MOM directory before paying any deposit. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A have a stronger compliance and complaint-handling track record. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency folds, and can void your FDW insurance.
A standard replacement guarantee in the Singapore market typically covers six months from the helper's arrival date, with one or more replacement placements included if there is a documented mismatch. Confirm with AICEL how many replacements are included, what circumstances are covered (a genuine mismatch versus a change of mind), and what triggers a void of the guarantee. Also clarify the early-termination process: if a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household is responsible for the helper's repatriation flight, Work Permit cancellation paperwork, and any unused levy refund. Understanding these costs upfront helps you evaluate the full value of the package. Contact AICEL directly to get these terms in writing before signing.
If AICEL isn't the right fit, these are other maid agencies providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
