About AMP Singapore Counselling
AMP Singapore Counselling provides counselling services in Singapore, operating from Pasir Ris. The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. Based on 40 Google reviews the service holds a rating of 4.2 out of 5, a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range tier; specific session fees are not published and should be confirmed directly with the provider.
For a first appointment, prospective clients typically contact AMP Singapore Counselling by phone or through the enquiry form to describe their concern or goal — whether that is anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, workplace stress, or another presenting issue. The counsellor will then outline the first-session format, discuss any intake paperwork, note relevant contraindications or existing clinical care, and advise whether an ongoing package or single sessions best suits the situation. It is worth clarifying cancellation and rescheduling terms before the first visit, as policies vary between practices.
To take the next step, reach AMP Singapore Counselling by phone or via the contact form on their listing. Ask about first-available slots, the counsellor's background and approach, and whether a short introductory call is available before committing to a full session.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
At first I gave a thumbs up for AMP Singapore but after what happens to my family dispute, I think AMP Singapore counsellor should be given a just 1 star on for allowing their client's to be irresponsible. A complaint has been issued to MSF and the Family Justice Court.
Very friendly and approachable surrounding! everyone was helpful and will always give a helping hand if needed. Love it!
Attended the Young Couples marriage course here back in May. Found the course to be very informative and my Husband (then Fiancé) and I definitely learnt some things! The people working there are all really nice, except the receptionist who should smile more. Hahaha but overall good experience!

AMP Singapore Counselling displays a mid-range pricing tier, but specific per-session fees are not published publicly. In Singapore, counselling sessions typically range from S$80–200 per hour depending on the practitioner's qualifications, the session format (individual, couples, or family), and whether the provider is affiliated with a community-care model or operates as a private practice. Some practices offer package rates for a block of sessions at a slight discount versus the single-session rate. Confirm the first-consultation fee, the per-session rate for follow-ups, the no-show and late-cancellation policy, and whether any means-tested or subsidised rates are available before booking. Most counselling practices in Singapore, including community-affiliated providers, do not require a formal GP referral to make a booking. However, contacting AMP Singapore Counselling directly to describe your situation in brief — either by phone or via the enquiry form — allows the counsellor to confirm they can appropriately support your presenting concern before you attend. A GP referral can be useful in two circumstances: if you intend to claim under an integrated shield plan or employer health benefits that require a referral code, or if your condition involves a clinical component (such as depression or anxiety that may also benefit from psychiatric review) where coordinated care is preferable. Ask the provider whether they work alongside GPs, psychiatrists, or other allied health professionals for complex presentations.
Counselling in Singapore is not yet a statutorily regulated profession in the same way as physiotherapy or TCM, meaning there is no single mandatory government licence for all counsellors. The key voluntary credential to look for is registration with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), which requires a recognised counselling qualification and adherence to a professional code of ethics. Some counsellors also hold accreditation from the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or an international body. AMP Singapore Counselling does not list specific regulatory licences in its public profile. Before booking, ask directly for the counsellor's qualifications, years of practice, areas of specialisation, and any SAC or SPS registration. You can cross-check SAC membership on the SAC public directory at singaporecounselling.org.sg. Confirm the practitioner's credentials before your first paid session.
