About Angel Employment Agency

About Angel Employment Agency

Angel Employment Agency is a domestic helper placement service operating islandwide from its office at 170 Upper Bukit Timah Road. It is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. Its Google rating stands at 4.7 out of 5 across 14 reviews — a small sample, so treat this figure as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is presented at the S$$ tier; confirm the exact placement fee and bundled items directly with the agency before proceeding.

When engaging a maid agency, the key steps are to confirm the agency holds a valid MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence — verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by name or licence number — and to check its EA Grading (A+ to C). From there, discuss whether you need a new-hire helper or a transfer helper, as placement fees differ accordingly (new hires typically S$1,500–3,500; transfers typically S$500–1,500). Clarify the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability), and what is bundled — FDW insurance, Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed separately. Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka. Ask about the replacement guarantee window and the process for early termination, including repatriation costs.

To begin, contact Angel Employment Agency via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to discuss your household's requirements and confirm the current EA Licence status before paying any deposit.

We hire a transfer helper from Jillian. The helper we hired is responsible, hardworking, and fits in well with our family. I truly appreciate the agency’s efficiency and support, even after the placement. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service 😊!

I would really like to express my sincere gratitude to Justin for handling my case. To start off, Justin was super understanding and patient towards my family and I really really do appreciate all the assistance that she rendered when needed. From the start till the end of the process, she would answer all your queries promptly and provide you the helper that you actually require. Everything was so smooth and easy even though it was my first time applying for a maid.

After experiencing multiple agencies over the years, most are transactional in nature and being treated mainly like a one time customer. I found it refreshing to engage Justin and her agency! Her dedication to ensure a right match for the helper required goes beyond just flooding me with pile of profiles. She takes the time out to understand what help I am really seeking and then go find the match. Resulting in very satisfactory hiring, and even the helper is happy. I highly recommend Justin for your next helper hiring!

I went to Angel Employment Agency looking for a helper. I was assisted by Ms Dessie, who showed great professionalism by taking notes of the job descriptions that I specified. Within 30mins, I was able to video interviewed a helper who matched my requirements. In the next 3 days, Ms Dessie assisted me in the employment and service contract details sorting out and wolah! in two weeks, my helper is happily working in my home. At this moment of writing this review, I’m still monitoring my helper, but this review is about the service of the agency which has been very satisfactory so far. Ms Dessie and Ms Anna repeated highlighted the importance of my requirements, also went up and above in sharing the details of certain clauses in the contract. Both of them displayed great patience when I faced issues with Grabpay. I have had much experiences with many agencies before, whose agents may try to be ambiguous about employer’s request, resulting in an mis match. I’m confident that our tri parties relationship will work out just fine, but nevertheless I wish Angel Employment Agency all the best in their future endeavours. Thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Angel Employment Agency charge?

Placement fees at maid agencies in Singapore typically run S$1,500–3,500 for a new-hire helper and S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper. Confirm Angel Employment Agency's exact fee and what is bundled — mandatory FDW insurance (roughly S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application are sometimes included and sometimes billed on top. Beyond the placement fee, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Is Angel Employment Agency MOM-licensed?

Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by agency name or licence number. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. At the time of this listing, no EA Licence is recorded in Angel Employment Agency's KakiList profile — verify this directly with the agency and cross-check on the MOM EA directory before paying any deposit. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A generally have stronger compliance records and better complaint-handling processes. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if a dispute arises, and can void your helper's insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.

What replacement guarantee does Angel Employment Agency offer?

The standard replacement window at most Singapore maid agencies is six months from the helper's arrival date. Confirm with Angel Employment Agency how many replacements are included within that window, what circumstances void the guarantee (for example, documented mismatch versus a change of mind), and the cost of any additional replacements beyond the covered period. Also clarify the early-termination process if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window. The household is typically responsible for the repatriation flight, refund of unused MOM levy, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork — these costs can add up, so understanding them upfront avoids surprises. Get the replacement and refund terms in writing before signing the placement agreement.
