About AO Psychology
AO Psychology is a counselling practice based at The Adelphi on Coleman Street, serving clients islandwide. The practice is KakiList-verified, confirming active operations and reachable contact channels. It holds a 5/5 rating across 16 Google reviews — a small sample, so this should be treated as directional rather than conclusive.
When reaching out, prospective clients typically begin with a brief enquiry via WhatsApp, phone, or the online contact form to describe their presenting concern or goal — whether that is anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, work stress, or personal development. The first consultation usually involves an intake conversation to understand your background, current situation, and what you hope to gain from the sessions. From there, the psychologist will discuss a recommended approach, session frequency, and whether individual, couples, or family work is most appropriate. Clients should also ask about the psychologist's training, areas of specialisation, and cancellation policy before committing to a package or ongoing sessions.
To take the next step, contact AO Psychology directly via WhatsApp or the enquiry form to check availability and arrange an initial consultation at their Coleman Street office.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Attending the Somatic Movement sessions with Dr Kimberly has been truly calming and nurturing. In a busy world, her warmth, kindness, and gentle presence create a safe space for the body to relax and connect fully. The environment felt warm and comforting, allowing me to remain present throughout each session. I’m grateful for the experience, and I believe it’s a wonderful opportunity for anyone curious about exploring somatic practices. :)
Attended their Inner Compass Workshop conducted by Nicole. She conducted the session perfectly balanced with participation, content delivery and personal sharing- all these while ensuring participants had a safe space to express or just to be there. Highly recommended!
I attended a Somatic Movement session with Dr.Kimberly. I loved the session itself. I can see how it can be so impactful for anyone that needs to work through emotions but is stuck. Dr.Kimberly conducted the session with so much care and she clearly is very knowledgeable. I also loved the space. Its warm and comforting.
As a private practitioner in mental health, AO Psychology has been a great partner to rent a work space with. They offer very reasonable rates for their newly furnished therapy rooms, which means I can pass on the savings to my clients who need them most. The staff is also extremely helpful and friendly, which creates the kind of atmosphere suitable for seeing clients. 5/5 Highly recommend for solo practitioners who are looking for a therapy space to rent :)
I’ve been renting this space for my counselling work and it’s been a wonderful fit. My clients loved it! The location is central and easy for clients to access, and the environment is quiet, safe, and welcoming. The room itself has a calming energy that makes sessions flow with ease. Facilities are well maintained, and the management team is professional, responsive, and genuinely supportive. It’s a space that allows me to focus on working with my clients without stress. I’d highly recommend it to other counsellors, therapists, or wellness practitioners looking for a professional and nurturing place to grow their practice.

AO Psychology lists its pricing as mid-range ($$), but a specific per-session rate is not publicly displayed. Singapore market context: individual counselling and psychology sessions typically run S$120–250 per 50-minute session at private practices, with initial assessments sometimes priced higher. Packages of multiple sessions are often available at a modest discount. Confirm the exact fee structure, whether an initial consultation is charged separately, and the cancellation or no-show policy before your first appointment. Ask whether the sessions attract GST and whether any insurance panels or employee assistance programme (EAP) coverage is accepted. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
No formal referral is required to book a private counselling session at AO Psychology — you can reach out directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form. The first session typically functions as an intake assessment, where the psychologist gathers background information, clarifies the presenting concern, and agrees on the focus and format of ongoing work. For more complex presentations — such as a formal psychological assessment for ADHD, learning differences, or a DSM diagnosis — the psychologist may request prior reports or arrange structured testing across multiple sessions. If you plan to submit claims to a health insurer or your employer's EAP, check in advance whether a GP referral letter strengthens your claim, as some insurers require one.
In Singapore, psychologists and counsellors are not yet subject to a single mandatory statutory licence in the way that doctors or physiotherapists are. However, credentialled practitioners typically register with the Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP), which is administered under the Singapore Psychological Society, or hold membership with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). Clinical psychologists with relevant postgraduate training may also be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) if they practise within certain scopes. Before booking, ask the practitioner directly for their highest qualification, the registration body or professional membership they hold, and their areas of specialisation. You can cross-check SRP-registered psychologists on the Singapore Psychological Society's public directory. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
