About Art-Therapy.sg
Art-Therapy.sg is a counselling practice based at Kitchener Complex, offering sessions islandwide across Singapore. The listing is verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed. Clients typically begin with a first consultation to discuss presenting concerns or goals — whether that is stress, anxiety, grief, relational difficulties, or another area — and to determine whether art therapy or general counselling is the right modality. It is worth asking about the format of sessions (individual, couple, family, or group), the intake process, any assessment or intake form required, and whether sessions are available in person at the Kitchener Complex location or remotely. Confirm the session length, fee per session or package pricing, and the cancellation policy before committing.
To take the next step, reach out to Art-Therapy.sg via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to arrange an initial consultation and confirm availability.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I had the opportunity to attend an art therapy workshop with my sister on 11th May by Solace Art Therapy. It was an introductory session delivered in friendly bite sized format. Our facilitator, Ms Boo Xu Ning is a pleasant and approachable lady, who delivered the activities with a lot of compassion and patience. The art experiential exercises provided a safe space for participants to share our thoughts and feelings based on our comfort levels. I was grateful to be able to spend time with myself in a meditative environment. I would recommend art therapy to anyone who is looking for healing and emotional support. It’s a comforting medium to express ourselves and find compassion from within.
Art therapy is a very impactful way to look into your subconscious and surface past issues/ traumas hindering your current life even if you are not aware of. It can even be used for adhoc issues like deciding a career change/ break. Solace Art Psychotherapy has been doing great in advocating art therapy. Buvi is a very effective therapist who helps clients refocus their life back to themselves and uncover ways to lead a happier life with ease. If you are looking for healing methods beyond counselling, give Solace Art a shot. You will not regret.
Invited Ms Buvi as guest speaker to speak to my students at a Institute of Higher Learning in Singapore. Topic was on Insights into Art Therapy & Sustainability. Feedback from my students were very positive and all mentioned that they have benefitted greatly from Ms Buvi sharing. Great domain knowledge! I would not hesitate to invite Ms Buvi to speak again at my institute. Thank you.
Extending my heartfelt thanks to Solace. The quality of work they do here is impactful, and I appreciate that the art therapists get support through supervision. My therapist was patient in working through my issues over a few months and was able to correctly highlight my strengths and gave me clarity on my blindspots. She also shared a couple of observations which I felt were rather spot on and I was glad I was in a better place emotionally to be able to receive them after processing some of my difficult issues with her. Keep up the good work!
I attended a Group Art Therapy Session with a group of close friends at Solace’s office in Novena. The environment created by the Therapist was an extremely “safe” one, where my friends and I had no issues in being truthful to ourselves in-front of each other during the process of self-exploration. By the end of the session, I had quite a fair bit of insight into some of my subconscious thoughts, particularly my concerns. Everyone in the group enjoyed the process of self-exploration - in fact, I do vividly recall the group having tonnes of fun as we discovered things about each other that we didn’t know. I would highly recommend Solace to anyone who is seeking any form of help in trying to explore and improve themselves! Further, it must be said that the Therapists at Solace are extremely passionate about Art Therapy and helping individuals in their journey to living better.

Art-Therapy.sg displays a mid-range pricing indicator but does not publish a specific per-session rate on this listing. Singapore counselling and art therapy sessions typically run S$80–200 per session for individual work, with first consultations sometimes priced separately. Package rates (for example, six or ten sessions) often carry a modest discount over the single-session rate. Confirm whether a first-consultation fee applies, whether session packages are available, and what the cancellation or rescheduling policy is before booking. No-show and late-cancellation fees are standard across most counselling practices in Singapore. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
Most counselling and art therapy practices in Singapore do not require a formal GP referral for self-referred clients, though a referral can be helpful if you intend to claim under an insurance policy or if your concerns are complex and benefit from a medical summary. Expect to complete an intake form at or before the first session covering presenting concerns, relevant history, and any contraindications. It is worth asking whether the practice screens for conditions that would be better served by a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist — a reputable practitioner will refer on when the presenting issue is outside their scope. If you are seeking sessions for a child or adolescent, confirm whether the practitioner works with that age group and what the parental consent and involvement process looks like.
No regulatory licences are listed on this profile for Art-Therapy.sg. In Singapore, counsellors are not yet subject to mandatory statutory licensing in the way that physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB) are, though the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and the Singapore Register of Counsellors (SRC) provide voluntary credentialling. Art therapists may hold credentials from the Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB) or be registered with the Asia Pacific Art Therapy Association. Before booking, ask the practitioner directly about their qualifications, professional memberships, and clinical supervision arrangements. Confirm whether they carry professional indemnity insurance. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
