We decided to wait a few months before writing this review because we wanted time to properly digest the experience of living in our home before trying to give any meaningful feedback. And I must say that even after all this time, it’s still such a joy coming home every day. Ascend really nailed it in bringing our dream home to life, and we’re genuinely very happy with how everything turned out. To give credit where it’s due, our ID, August, was full of creative ideas from the very start. She encouraged us to explore a wider range of colours and was thoughtful with her suggestions on furnishings as well. August was also incredibly adaptable in her design thinking. When we decided to switch our theme from wabi-sabi to something more colourful, instead of being frustrated, she got excited and jumped right into the new direction with us. Like any renovation, there were a few hiccups along the way, but everything was resolved pretty quickly. At no point did we feel like Ascend was cutting corners or trying to upsell us unnecessarily. They took our feedback constructively and focused on offering solutions, and I think that’s what really matters when choosing an ID company. It’s clear they genuinely care about creating beautiful, thoughtful homes rather than just chasing profit. So here’s a huge thank you from my wife and me to Ascend, for giving us such a warm and cozy place to call home :)

I can’t recommend Vincent and his team at Ascend Design enough! From the very first meeting, they really listened to what I wanted and understood my style. Vincent has an amazing eye for design—he made my home feel modern, cozy, and just… right. Every detail was carefully thought out, and nothing felt over the top. From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to work with Jasper from Ascend Design — and today, and we couldn’t be happier seeing our home come to life. As first-time homeowners, the entire renovation journey felt daunting at first. But Jasper guided us every step of the way with finesse, creativity, and assurance that the process turned out to be smooth and genuinely enjoyable. His design sensibilities and creative intuition far exceeded our expectations — made the entire journey truly fuss-free, allowing us to trust him completely and he thoughtfully crafted a space that truly feels like home. We've been staying in our home for slightly over a year and wanted to give a shout out to Gideon from Ascend Design! From the get go, we wanted our home to be a cosy space and i think we achieved exactly that. Many people praised the carpentry work and i have to agree that the carpentry workmanship is great. I have seen the carpenters in action during the reno process as well as during the post reno rectifications and i could see how the contractor was so particular in aligning all of our cabinets. Loved that! With every reno project, there are bound to be issues and hiccups. For ours, the biggest one was the damage of the common bathroom carpentry which we only noticed after the sintered stone AND top mount sink was installed - that meant we needed to break the current sintered stone, remove the top mount sink and get the carpentry fixed. 3 different contractors (countertop guys, plumbers, and carpenters) to come twice each to remove and reinstall after the rectification. Although this was already after handover, and Gideon was still helpful and responsive throughout everything, coordinating all of the contractors and ensuring it got fixed. We are thankful! Now, one year on, Gideon still extends his help when we need it. The most recent being, a small part of our countertop got chipped and i had no hope of it being fixed, but upon reaching out, he contacted the contractors and within a week, the contractors have come & gotten it fixed. Overall, thankful to Gideon for seeing our home through the entire reno and even all of the small/big post reno hiccups. Will recommend working with Ascend Design!
