About Asset Agency Pte Ltd
Asset Agency Pte Ltd is a domestic helper placement agency operating islandwide from its Hougang office. It is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. Its Google rating stands at 3.7 out of 5 across 125 reviews — a robust sample that suggests a mixed reception worth investigating before committing. No MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence is listed in the provider's current data, which is a mandatory requirement for any agency placing foreign domestic workers in Singapore; prospective clients should verify licence status directly on MOM's online EA directory before proceeding.
When engaging a maid agency, the key cost components to clarify upfront are the placement fee — typically S$1,500–3,500 for a new hire or S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper — the helper's monthly salary (generally S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm what is bundled into the placement fee — mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed separately. Source-country options, replacement guarantee windows, and early-termination repatriation costs should all be agreed in writing before any deposit is paid.
Contact Asset Agency Pte Ltd via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to request a full placement fee breakdown, confirm the EA Licence number, and ask about current helper profiles before arranging an in-person consultation at the Hougang office.
Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
Agency failed to resolve issues and situation spiraled out of control We had a very poor experience with this agency. When problems arose with our helper, the agency did not provide any meaningful support or resolution. Instead of helping to mediate and find solutions, the situation escalated dramatically. The helper had no issues in the early dates but as we started reaching close to her 1st year with us, there started to have ongoing issues with following instructions, insisted on doing things her own way despite clear guidance, and was uncooperative when asked to adapt to household needs. When we reached out to the agency for assistance, they failed to intervene effectively. The agency claimed no refund was due as the “guaranteed” period had passed and if we wanted them to help we had to pay them new agency fees. Most alarmingly, on a Sunday, the helper abruptly left our home without any prior discussion or notice and went straight to MOM. What was particularly surprising was that she seemed to know exactly where to go and what to do on a Sunday - raising questions about whether the agency had been coaching her behind the scenes rather than helping us resolve the employment issues professionally. We suspect the agency had orchestrate transfers to earn more fees. The agency completely failed in their responsibility to mediate between employer and helper. Instead of de-escalating the situation, their lack of proper support led to an abrupt and chaotic end to the employment. We expected professional guidance and problem-solving but received neither. I would not recommend this agency to anyone seeking reliable support and proper employment management.
We have engaged Asset Maid Agency over the last few years! It has been a good experience with them. Biying has been a great help with the last helper we engaged, helping us to transition into the role!
I am happy with the service provided by Bi Ying, timely with updates. She is always willing to work together to solve helper issues and ensure I get a helper who is a good fit for the household.
Highly Efficient and Professional – Grateful for the Recommendation! I was recommended to Asset Agency by my sister-in-law, and I’m so thankful I followed her advice. I had previously faced a difficult time with another agency, but Asset Agency completely turned things around for me. My deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff—especially Biying and Joey—for their sincerity, professionalism, and swift support. They helped me match with a suitable helper not just within a week, but in just 3 days! Biying also arranged the helper’s training and handled the MOM registration promptly, all within the short timeframe. I truly appreciate how smooth and stress-free the process was. What made a huge difference was that they had available helpers ready for interviews, which saved me so much time and uncertainty. I highly recommend Asset Agency to anyone looking for reliable, fast, and genuinely caring service. Thank you once again for your outstanding support!

The placement fee for a new-hire foreign domestic worker typically ranges from S$1,500 to S$3,500 through Singapore agencies; a transfer helper (already in Singapore on an existing Work Permit) usually costs S$500–1,500. On top of the placement fee, factor in the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the MOM monthly levy — S$300 at the standard rate, or S$60 at the concessionary rate if your household has a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability. Confirm precisely what is bundled into the quoted placement fee: mandatory FDW insurance (~S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, pre-deployment medical examination, and Work Permit application are all compulsory and should not be charged again as extras. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence — this is a legal requirement, not optional. No EA Licence is listed in Asset Agency Pte Ltd's current provider data, so you should verify its licence status directly on MOM's online EA directory (search by agency name or licence number) before paying any deposit. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A have stronger compliance and complaint-handling track records. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal under Singapore law, leaves you with no recourse if a placement breaks down, and can void the helper's insurance. Asset Agency Pte Ltd is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, which confirms it is a legally incorporated business — but ACRA registration alone does not substitute for an MOM EA Licence. Confirm the EA Licence number before proceeding.
The standard replacement window at most Singapore maid agencies is six months from the helper's arrival date, though terms vary. Confirm how many replacements are included within that window, what circumstances void the guarantee (documented mismatch versus simple preference change), and what you pay for any additional replacement beyond the covered number. Also clarify the early-termination process. If a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household bears the cost of the repatriation flight, unused levy refund processing, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork. These costs can add up to S$800–1,500 or more depending on the helper's source country. Get the replacement policy, refund conditions, and early-termination clauses in writing as part of the agency contract before signing — verbal assurances are not enforceable.
