About Aunty SG

About Aunty SG

Aunty SG is a confinement nanny provider serving families islandwide in Singapore. The listing has been verified by KakiList, and the service carries a 4.9/5 rating across 317 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects consistent client satisfaction. Pricing is presented at the $$ band; contact Aunty SG directly for a package quote, as confinement nanny fees vary by duration and nanny profile.

When enquiring, share your estimated due date as early as possible — experienced confinement nannies are in high demand and popular placements book out six to twelve months in advance. The standard engagement runs 28 days from the day of delivery, with some families opting for a 56-day arrangement if additional support is preferred. Before confirming a booking, discuss food preferences in detail: dietary tradition (Cantonese herbal soups, Hokkien, Teochew, or other), specific dishes, rice wine use, and any allergies matter for both mother and nanny. Agree on overnight care responsibilities, the daily schedule for newborn bathing, and any household duties expected of the nanny. Where Aunty SG places via an agency model, ask about the interview process, whether you can meet the assigned nanny before your due date, and what the replacement policy is if the match does not work out.

To take the next step, reach out to Aunty SG via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your due date, preferred dietary tradition, and whether you require 28 or 56 days of coverage — this gives them what they need to match you with an available nanny and provide a full package quote.

I had such a wonderful confinement experience with Auntie Miki, and I’m truly grateful for her care during this precious time. She is super nice, friendly, and easy to talk to. She is very knowledgeable about what mummies can eat (for example, no chicken for the first two weeks after a tear) and also very experienced in handling babies, such as bathing and soothing them. She’s not shy to share this knowledge with my mum too, which we really appreciated. Her cooking is superb! I usually eat very little, but with her dishes, I found myself finishing every single grain of rice and drop of soup she made. Her portions are generous, and everything she prepared was both nutritious and delicious. On top of that, whenever we pointed out small areas to take note of such as cleaning, she was very receptive and adjusted right away, which made us feel comfortable and reassured. Whenever she sees me struggling with my baby, she takes the initiative to step in and help, while still encouraging me to learn. You can tell how much she loves babies, sometimes she can’t let go because she’s so caring and protective, especially since I’m still building confidence in handling my little one. My baby is not the easiest to manage, especially at night when she just can’t seem to sleep. Poor Auntie Miki would keep waking up every 1–2 hours to coax her back to rest. Despite this, she took initiative to communicate openly with us about the challenges of night duty and advocated for some afternoon rest once she had completed her morning tasks. We appreciated her honesty and were more than happy for her to have personal time, because it showed she is responsible and thoughtful about balancing her energy. Overall, I had a truly great confinement time with Auntie Miki. The 28 days flew by so quickly that I didn’t want it to end. I would definitely recommend her to other mummies looking for a kind, caring, and dedicated nanny.❤️

We had a great experience with Aunty confinement service. Our nanny, Maggie, was a huge help to our family. She provided excellent guidance during the early days with our newborn and helped her recover from mild jaundice through diligent feeding. She also went the extra mile and showed genuine effort and care in looking after the baby. Highly recommend their services for any new parents!

I had a great experience with aunty Mei Yan. I initially got her for 2 months but extended her service to 3.5 months. Not only was she tireless in taking care of my newborn, but she was also always cheery, calm and patient with him too. She took joy in witnessing his development and little quirks, and I felt assured that she was genuine in her care and love for babies! She adjusted her cooking to my preferences and always made the effort to experiment in her dishes too. She gave good advice, was knowledgeable and she supported me a lot with establishing breastfeeding, which was especially difficult in the initial few weeks when baby eats so often. I appreciate how steady and consistent she was throughout the few months she was with us! And thank you to the Aunty SG team as well. They had initially assigned another nanny for me from 38 weeks onwards, but upon informing them that I’d be delivering at 37 weeks, Jaslene was very swift in arranging for a new nanny, so it was an stress-free experience! She also checked in on me in the initial few weeks and was supportive. Thank you!

Unique nanny service where it offers interview opportunities with the nanny that was matched. Give us the confidence before the actual confinement period! We were matched with Aunty Lucy and during the interview, our vibes clicked so we went ahead with her. She was great with babies, responsible for night duties. She helped to wash the pumps and bottles and kept the house clean. With my first born, she interacted with her and even bought a gift for her on the first day! She also helped to cook simple dishes for her which was really a great help. Thank you aunty lucy!!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Aunty SG charge for confinement?

Aunty SG prices its confinement packages at the $$ band; contact the team directly for a confirmed quote, as fees depend on duration and nanny profile. For context, the Singapore market for confinement nanny packages typically runs from S$3,500 to S$6,500 for a standard 28-day engagement, with 56-day arrangements priced higher. Confirm clearly what is included in the package: overnight care, newborn bathing, preparation of herbal soups and confinement meals, and any additional household support. Some nannies charge separately for ingredients or expect the household to supply them, so clarify this before signing. A written agreement covering the full scope, rate, and payment schedule is strongly recommended. See the full confinement nanny cost guide for Singapore →

How far ahead should I book Aunty SG?

Book as early as possible — ideally four to six months before your due date at a minimum. Experienced confinement nannies in Singapore are heavily sought after, and the most in-demand placements are often reserved six to twelve months out, particularly around the Lunar New Year period when many families prefer to avoid certain dates. Once you make initial contact, Aunty SG will typically guide you through an interview or matching process so you can discuss your dietary preferences (for example, a Cantonese versus Hokkien confinement diet, dairy preferences, or herbal supplement use), overnight care expectations, and any specific newborn care requirements. Agreeing on these details before the nanny's start date prevents misunderstandings during what is already a demanding period for new mothers.

Is the nanny trained and what happens if she is unsuitable?

Confinement nannies in Singapore are not subject to a mandatory government licensing regime, so training and experience levels vary. When engaging through Aunty SG, ask specifically about each nanny's years of experience, whether she has handled newborns with medical needs or C-section recoveries, and whether she holds any recognised confinement or infant care certification. If the arrangement is managed through an agency model, confirm the replacement policy in writing before booking — specifically the window during which a replacement is available, what constitutes grounds for replacement, and whether any additional fee applies. Freelance nannies typically offer a lower price but come with less formal recourse if the placement breaks down. Having the terms clearly documented in a written agreement gives both parties clarity and protects the family if issues arise.
