This wonderful building facade is an amazing work of art. I like the mosaic tiles arch pattern settings. Looks simple but elegant details in construction all round. Like the curvature columns and beams. At a distance it looks like a rejuvenated architecture facade design of the old Hotel building at the former Supreme Court Building design. Standing in front of the Peninsula Plaza building sign looks like Mr Alfred Wong that I meet him at Hong San See temple at Mohamed Sultan road in one of the Singapore heritage presentation talks. He also designed our amazing old National Theatre(one of my favorites) and also the former Marco Polo Hotel (Hotel Malaysia then in the 1970s) at Tanglin road. A very remarkable and amazing architectural design. I considered it our lost buildings in Singapore. He also did the Peninsula Hotel, Excelsior Hotel, Garden Hotel at and Paramount Hotel at Katong.
