When enquiring, prospective clients are advised to ask about nanny availability for their expected due date and to book well in advance — demand for confinement nannies typically outpaces supply, and popular nannies are often committed months ahead. The standard engagement covers a 28-day period, with some agencies offering a 56-day option for mothers who prefer extended support. Key topics to clarify during an interview with the nanny include: dietary tradition and herbal soup preferences (Cantonese, Hokkien, or other), overnight newborn care, baby bathing, breastfeeding support, and whether the nanny's food costs are included or billed separately. Agencies typically offer a replacement nanny if the initial match proves unsuitable, though the terms and window for this vary.
To take the next step, reach out to Babies Bellies via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form with your expected due date and any specific care or dietary requirements, and request an interview with a prospective nanny before confirming your booking.
Interview the nanny before booking, agree the food and overnight terms in writing.
I cannot recommend Babies and Bellies enough! I had an incredible prenatal massage with Mas. It was exactly what I needed during my pregnancy. She was so attentive and knew exactly how to relieve my tension. My husband also did the Javanese massage and enjoyed it. It was a great experience for both of us. For my postnatal care, I booked a 10-day package and the results were amazing. Zaty always arrive early and always leave me feeling relaxed after the sessions. I also saw a visible difference in my postpartum belly, it effectively became much smaller during the course of the sessions. If you are looking for skilled therapists who truly understand the needs of mothers, this is the place!
I had completed 7 sessions postnatal massage with the therapist- Chinda. And i would say it was an awesome and amazing experience. She put your mind and body at ease. I feel relax and enjoyed every session. It was mind blowing, i could see how much my belly got smaller after the sessions (To begin with, my belly was extremly huge even after 2 weeks of delivery) and i wasnt expecting much. Once again, thank you Chinda!
Overall, the experience was pleasant and the therapist (Chinda) was friendly. Chinda was able to perform firmer pressure and more time spent on the areas I mentioned. She also provided tips on how to take care of myself postpartum. Although i didn’t ask/request for lactation massage, i thought it would be great if the therapist included lactation massage during the 90min session for the 7 days, to ensure that mummies milk ducts are patent. Otherwise, i would still recommend Chinda as the postnatal therapist! Thank you!
I had a pleasant experience with all of my postnatal massage sessions from Babies Bellies. Every session with therapist Nana was very comfortable and relaxing. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend Babies Bellies to other new mummies looking for postpartum care.
had such a wonderful experience with my postpartum massage sessions. Each session left me feeling lighter, more relaxed, and noticeably less tense. I really appreciated the professionalism, the calming environment, and how Cik midah made me feel well cared for throughout my recovery. The massage not only helped with healing and muscle relief but also gave me much-needed emotional and physical comfort during this period. Highly recommend to any new mum looking for genuine support and effective postpartum recovery.

Confinement nanny packages in Singapore typically run between S$3,500 and S$6,500 for a standard 28-day engagement, depending on the nanny's experience, whether an agency fee is charged separately, and whether food costs are bundled into the package or billed on top. Some agencies also offer a 56-day extended package for mothers who want longer support, which is priced accordingly. Babies Bellies uses a package pricing model, but specific figures were not provided in this listing. Contact them directly to confirm what is included — overnight newborn care, baby bathing, herbal soups, and the mother's meals are common inclusions, but the breakdown varies by agency and nanny. As a general rule, book your confinement nanny at least four to six months before your expected due date. Popular nannies with strong track records are often booked six to twelve months out, and last-minute availability is rare — particularly around the Lunar New Year period when many nannies take a break. During the booking process, arrange an interview with the prospective nanny to discuss food preferences and dietary tradition (for example, Cantonese-style herbal soups versus other regional styles), overnight care expectations, breastfeeding support, and any specific requirements around the household. Agreeing on these details in writing before confirming avoids misunderstandings during the confinement period itself.
Confinement nanny certification is not a regulated requirement in Singapore — training standards and credentials vary widely between individual nannies and agencies. When enquiring with Babies Bellies, ask whether their nannies hold any recognised training certificates and how many confinement assignments each has completed. On the question of suitability, agency-placed nannies typically come with a replacement guarantee within a defined window — usually within the first few days of the assignment if there is a documented mismatch. Freelance nannies arranged outside an agency may be cheaper but offer limited recourse if things do not work out. Confirm Babies Bellies' replacement policy, the conditions that qualify, and what happens if no suitable replacement is available, before signing any agreement.
