For families considering a place, the typical starting point is to enquire about slot availability for your intended start month, as popular playgroups can fill quickly. You would then arrange a centre visit to observe the environment, speak with the lead teacher, and ask about the daily routine, child-to-caregiver ratio, and the settling-in approach used to help young children transition comfortably. It is also worth confirming whether the programme aligns with your child's developmental stage and asking about registration fees, deposit requirements, and any applicable ECDA subsidies if your child holds Singapore citizenship.
To take the next step, contact Beloved Bumps directly by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current availability and to arrange a visit to the centre before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Ahhhh, Beloved Bumps! ❤️ I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. As first-time parents, Laura, Charlotte and Tania were amazing in equipping us with much-needed knowledge in labour (so we have a better idea of what’s happening at the hospital), newborn care and postpartum care. These trained midwives were all patient in answering our questions and with running through all the content with us. Many of us tend to get ready by buying things, but knowledge is just as powerful! Classes stretched over 4 Saturdays were the perfect duration, and the best part is that you walk away from these classes with a close-knit community of friends, all going through (or about to go through) the same thing (labour and parenthood). A life-long group that you can do lunches with before birth, can update when you’ve given birth (this has just happened to the first of us, and is very exciting!), and when we become parents! There’s also a larger community that you can reach out to for support (and the midwives are in this chat too), so that’s always reassuring. Part of the package for us includes a midwife home visit postpartum, as well as a lactation home visit. The support is unreal! We also attended an active birth workshop by Laura that teaches you techniques to breathe through labour etc and how your birth partner can support you through it. My husband and I also attended the CPR + AED course for infants (also by Laura) that will prove useful in an emergency. The course also touches on fever + allergy management. If you’re thinking about a series of classes to help you get ready for the first year of parenthood (and possibly beyond), and a community of new friends to go through this journey with, then Beloved Bumps is the place for you. I am a massive fan, and always will be! :)
Hello all! This training session on Beloved Bumps was exceptional. The instructor Mandy used real-world scenarios and interactive exercise. The materials provide were excellent, and i feel confident applying these new skills to my current work, ones again thank you.
Beloved bumps have been an amazing source of information and support for my husband and I with our first baby, from the very beginning when I first found out I was pregnant to the prenatal classes and first aid course to the midwife visit once baby arrived. Thank you very much! I’d highly recommend Beloved Bumps to anyone 💕
Laura was incredibly helpful and reassuring during her home visit. She really helped boost my confidence with latching by taking the time to observe a feed and show me clearly how to position my baby and achieve a good latch. I left the session feeling much less anxious and far more comfortable and confident about breastfeeding. I would highly recommend Laura to any new mum looking for patient, hands-on and knowledgeable breastfeeding support.
Beloved Bumps has been a really valuable resource at every stage of our parenthood process. From the informative antenatal classes, to the home visit from Laura who is a lactation expert, to the weekly coffee session playgroups, which are a great chance to get out of the house and speak with Beloved Bumps team members and other new mums. We worked with Laura and Charlotte, who are both warm, engaging and extremely knowledgeable, and I have heard great things about all the team members.

Beloved Bumps displays a mid-tier monthly fee, consistent with the moderate pricing range for playgroups in Singapore. Beyond the monthly programme fee, families should confirm whether a one-time registration fee applies, the deposit required to secure a place (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and whether uniform or personal accident insurance costs are charged separately. Childcare and playgroup fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly rate should be the amount you pay. Always request a written fee schedule before signing any enrolment agreement. Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed childcare and playgroup centres may be eligible for government subsidies. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for childcare (and up to S$600 for infant care). Working mothers who clock 56 or more hours of work per month may qualify for the Additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy on top of the Basic Subsidy. For lower-income families, the Additional Subsidy can bring total combined support up to S$710 per month, subject to household income assessment. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at reduced quantum. Subsidy amounts are reviewed periodically, so figures above are indicative only — visit the ECDA website directly for current rates and eligibility criteria before making financial plans. Note: subsidy eligibility is tied to the centre holding an ECDA licence. Confirm the centre's licence status with Beloved Bumps directly before assuming subsidies apply.
Playgroup and childcare places in Singapore, particularly at well-regarded centres, can be in high demand. As a general guide, families are advised to enquire three to twelve months ahead of their intended start date, with January being the peak intake month when many programmes begin their new academic year cycle. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, which typically confirms your child's slot while the administrative process is completed. These terms vary by centre, so it is worth asking Beloved Bumps directly about their current availability, enrolment timeline, and what is needed to hold a place. Contact Beloved Bumps by phone or through the enquiry form to check live availability for your preferred start month.
