I’ve had positive experiences with the doctors at Better Life Clinic — both Dr Abishek and Dr Adeline were professional, attentive, and compassionate, and I felt well cared for during consultations. Unfortunately, my experience with the administrative handling was less pleasant. Communication from the admin side felt rigid and impersonal, particularly around appointment cancellations due to illness, despite efforts made to inform the clinic as early as reasonably possible. The tone of correspondence was upsetting and lacked empathy, especially given the circumstances. It’s a pity, as the quality of care from the doctors themselves is good. I hope the clinic can improve its administrative communication and approach, as it does affect the overall patient experience.

My three sons and I were referred to Dr Abhishek, a psychiatrist at Better Life, over a year ago. He’s been absolutely fantastic, tailoring his care for our individual needs, and supporting us through diagnosis, treatment and medication. The positive effect he’s had on our family life and my kids’ school life is outstanding and I cannot thank him enough. He’s kind and compassionate, professional and calm, and builds rapport with even the surliest of kids. He’s been life changing for us. If I could, I’d give Dr. Abhishek 20 stars. He has helped me for the last 4 years of my life, since our first appointment in May of 2021. All my concerns and queries regarding my mental health and wellbeing were answered by him, he was never dismissive and was always attentive. And he always reassured me that doctor’s appointments were check-ins that showed growth and not relapses or even something to be ashamed of. If anyone is going through a tough time and would want to consult a doctor, I would confidently recommend Dr. Abhishek to you. He is very precise in his approach and always adjusts medicines to suits his patient needs (I had mine changed multiple times too). More so than that, Dr. Abhishek always, always treats you like a human, and not a patient. For me, he genuinely worked towards a safe and healthy recovery, all while sharing his expertise on different medications and treatments. Plus, he gives pretty solid life advice too, he encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and grow.
