The practice is KakiList-verified, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been checked by a real person. Clients typically begin with a first consultation to discuss presenting concerns — whether anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, or workplace stress — and to assess fit with the counsellor's approach and background. Sessions may be offered individually, as couples, or for families depending on scope; confirm format, session length (typically 50–60 minutes), group versus individual work, frequency, and whether online sessions are available alongside in-person appointments at the Cecil Street office. Ask about the intake process, any pre-session forms, and the cancellation or no-show policy before committing to a package.
To take the next step, reach out to Blossom Seeds Counselling via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about appointment availability, the first-session format, and current per-session or package fees.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
I normally go to Claudia of Psychology Blossom at my most vulnerable self. She is very welcoming, caring, competent and trustworthy. She provides a quick fix to my most urgent need; and a long-term, practical advice going forward. The support team replies to my Whatsapp messages promptly even if it's just to voice out my concerns and not necessarily book an appointment. They are really understanding. Psychology Blossom is very professional and operates with a warmth like a family. More power!
I had a good chat with Claudia, the director of psychology blossoms, and now I have a deeper understanding how psychotherapy can help us unblock difficulties in life. It is always good to have a qualified and trained therapist guide us to achieve our goals in life.
I had a very meaningful conversation with Claudia today . She was professional , kind and the most importantly her voice is very calm and very patient. I highly recommend Claudia for her experience , kind heart and passion to help .
Very grateful to Sukalyani for her support and guidance. I always leave sessions feeling lighter, clearer, and more in control. The environment is incredibly calming and welcoming as well. Totally loved it!
My partner and I visited Psychology Blossom for a premarital assessment with Claudia Doig, and unfortunately the experience was far from what we expected. We were assured that the session would be a safe and non-judgmental space, but it did not feel that way. At one point, the psychologist said “your mom has no common sense” (quoted directly), which felt inappropriate and unprofessional. She also reacted to one of our family backgrounds by repeatedly saying she had “never seen” such circumstances and appeared appalled. Rather than asking more questions or understanding the context, she jumped to conclusions and made one of us feel that their family situation was not “normal.” A therapist’s role is to listen, explore, and understand—not to judge personal history or make assumptions. Instead of feeling supported, we left the session feeling uncomfortable and misunderstood. I hope this feedback helps others seeking a truly safe and respectful therapeutic environment. I would also appreciate if the clinic does not reach out to us for any further conversation. PS: wonderful receptionists though. Lovely and professional girls.

Blossom Seeds Counselling has not published a specific per-session rate, and pricing in the Singapore counselling market varies meaningfully by practitioner seniority and session format. Individual counselling sessions at private practices typically run S$100–200 per 50-minute session; couples or family sessions are often priced higher. Some practices offer block packages of 5–10 sessions at a modest discount. Confirm the first-session consultation fee, whether an intake assessment is billed separately, the cancellation policy, and whether any sliding-scale or corporate EAP rates apply. GST may apply depending on the practice's registration status — clarify this when requesting a quote. See the full counselling cost guide for Singapore →
A GP or specialist referral is not strictly required to book a counselling session at most private practices in Singapore, including Blossom Seeds Counselling. You can typically self-refer by contacting the practice directly. That said, if you intend to claim through an employer's Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) or an integrated-shield insurance plan, check whether your insurer requires a GP referral letter before the first session. Expect to complete an intake form covering your presenting concern, relevant history, and any risk factors before or at the first appointment. If you are dealing with a complex condition — severe depression, trauma with safety risk, or psychosis — the counsellor may refer you to a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist for a formal assessment before proceeding with counselling.
Counselling in Singapore is not yet a statutorily regulated profession, meaning there is no single mandatory government licence equivalent to those required for physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB). Credible voluntary credentials to look for include registration with the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), membership of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), or an internationally recognised qualification such as a Master's in Counselling or Clinical Psychology. Blossom Seeds Counselling's specific practitioner credentials were not confirmed in the available listing data. Before your first session, ask for the counsellor's full qualification, membership body, and registration number, and verify those details on the relevant association's public register. This is standard practice and any reputable counsellor will provide it willingly.
