About BMJ Physiotherapy (Ang Mo Kio)

BMJ Physiotherapy (Ang Mo Kio) is a physiotherapy practice listed on KakiList under Wellness, operating islandwide with a clinic address at Parkway Centre, Marine Parade. Patients typically begin with an initial consultation in which the physiotherapist takes a detailed history of the presenting condition — whether that is musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, neurological recovery, or a chronic condition requiring ongoing management. From there, a treatment plan is agreed, which may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy modalities, or a combination. Sessions may be booked as single appointments or as part of a recurring package; the frequency and total number of sessions depend on the nature and severity of the condition. Patients are advised to bring any relevant imaging reports, referral letters, or specialist notes to the first appointment to allow the physiotherapist to plan treatment accurately.

To take the next step, contact BMJ Physiotherapy (Ang Mo Kio) via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing to confirm appointment availability, session fees, and whether a referral letter is needed for your insurer.

I’ve been seeing physiotherapist Alison for my post-surgery recovery, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the care and support I’ve received over the past 8 months. From barely able to move or turn my forearm to almost 100% mobility now, it’s been such a journey — and she has been there every step of the way, guiding me with patience and encouragement. Their admin team also deserves a huge shoutout for always being so efficient and friendly — from helping me book my sessions to sending timely reminders, they make the whole process so smooth. Really appreciate the professionalism and genuine care from the whole team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dedicated and supportive physio clinic! 💪✨

I came to Yi Liang with a torn labrum and the goal of getting fully back to the gym and BJJ. What I really appreciated was how structured and progressive the rehab process was. He didn’t just focus on relieving the pain (which he successfully did), but also made sure I strengthened the right stabilising muscles to prevent future issues. As a fellow BJJ practitioner, he understood exactly what the sport demands on the body. That made a huge difference because he knew the right advice to give me, and how I can slowly get back to 100% at a sport I love. Highly recommend Yi Liang if you’re looking for someone knowledgeable, attentive, and serious about getting you back to performing at your best.

TL;DR; This is a great physiotherapy place. Highly recommended. Especially Dr. Li Yiang. Long Answer: I sprained my ankle during a hike. went to GP, did an xray and met a specialist. It turned out the "sprain" was actually an ankle avulsion fracture. I was able to walk but the specialist suggested to do physiotherapy. So, at BMJ Physiotherapy, I had 2 sessions with Dr. Li Yiang. He was the first person to show me from first principles the biomechanics of an ankle and "why" I need to do certain exercises for faster recovery. After 2 sessions, I had to travel again and couldn't continue. Dr Li Yiang kept in touch to enquire about my ankle. overall great experience!

Exceptional care and results. BMJ Physiotherapy at Marine Parade, took wonderful care of my mother, and her recovery was both fast and remarkable. A special thank you to Senior physiotherapist Chew Sook Fun for the professionalism, patience, and genuine care shown throughout her sessions. We felt very supported, and the quality of treatment truly made a difference. Highly recommended.

I’ve been seeing Physio Dylan from June to October for a suspected ATFL tear, and he has been nothing short of professional and knowledgeable. He explains every exercise clearly and how each one supports my recovery and strengthening. It was also my first time trying dry needling, and it unexpectedly helped relieve the pain and tension. I wouls also like to thank Pauline, who has been incredibly patient in following up on my appointment dates and times, even when I occasionally forgot to reply. Overall, a great experience with BMJ and I highly recommend Dylan for his expertise and great service.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does BMJ Physiotherapy (Ang Mo Kio) charge per session?

Physiotherapy consultation and treatment fees in Singapore typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session for private clinics, depending on session duration, treatment modalities used, and whether the appointment is an initial assessment or a follow-up. BMJ Physiotherapy (Ang Mo Kio) has not published a specific per-session rate on this listing, so contact them directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm current pricing. Do I need a referral or assessment first at BMJ Physiotherapy (Ang Mo Kio)?

Physiotherapists in Singapore can be seen directly without a GP referral — you do not need a letter to book an appointment. That said, a referral or specialist letter is useful if you plan to claim under a corporate health plan or integrated shield plan, as many insurers require it to process reimbursement. At the first visit, expect an intake assessment covering your medical history, the onset and nature of your symptoms, any prior imaging, and your rehabilitation goals. Bring relevant X-ray or MRI reports if you have them. If you have contraindications such as recent fractures, active infection, or a cardiac condition, mention these when booking so the physiotherapist can confirm the session is appropriate for you.

Is the practitioner at BMJ Physiotherapy (Ang Mo Kio) licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is mandatory and verifiable on the AHPC public register at www.ahpc.edu.sg — search by the practitioner's name before your first appointment. BMJ Physiotherapy (Ang Mo Kio) does not list specific AHPC registration numbers on this KakiList entry, so confirm the treating physiotherapist's name and registration status directly with the clinic. The practice holds a 5/5 rating across 293 Google reviews, which is a robust independent signal. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
