Patients typically begin with a first consultation during which the physiotherapist takes a detailed history, assesses movement, strength, and pain patterns, and discusses the presenting condition — whether that is a sports injury, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic musculoskeletal pain, neck or back issues, or a neurological condition. From there, a structured treatment plan is agreed, which may involve manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, or electrotherapy modalities. Treatment may be delivered as a single session or as a recurring package, depending on the condition's complexity, and the clinic can be reached via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to arrange appointments.
To get started, contact BMJ Physiotherapy (Marine Parade) directly via WhatsApp or phone to describe your condition and preferred appointment slot, and ask about the initial consultation fee and any package options before your first visit.

I’ve been seeing physiotherapist Alison for my post-surgery recovery, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the care and support I’ve received over the past 8 months. From barely able to move or turn my forearm to almost 100% mobility now, it’s been such a journey — and she has been there every step of the way, guiding me with patience and encouragement. Their admin team also deserves a huge shoutout for always being so efficient and friendly — from helping me book my sessions to sending timely reminders, they make the whole process so smooth. Really appreciate the professionalism and genuine care from the whole team. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dedicated and supportive physio clinic! 💪✨
I came to Yi Liang with a torn labrum and the goal of getting fully back to the gym and BJJ. What I really appreciated was how structured and progressive the rehab process was. He didn’t just focus on relieving the pain (which he successfully did), but also made sure I strengthened the right stabilising muscles to prevent future issues. As a fellow BJJ practitioner, he understood exactly what the sport demands on the body. That made a huge difference because he knew the right advice to give me, and how I can slowly get back to 100% at a sport I love. Highly recommend Yi Liang if you’re looking for someone knowledgeable, attentive, and serious about getting you back to performing at your best.
TL;DR; This is a great physiotherapy place. Highly recommended. Especially Dr. Li Yiang. Long Answer: I sprained my ankle during a hike. went to GP, did an xray and met a specialist. It turned out the "sprain" was actually an ankle avulsion fracture. I was able to walk but the specialist suggested to do physiotherapy. So, at BMJ Physiotherapy, I had 2 sessions with Dr. Li Yiang. He was the first person to show me from first principles the biomechanics of an ankle and "why" I need to do certain exercises for faster recovery. After 2 sessions, I had to travel again and couldn't continue. Dr Li Yiang kept in touch to enquire about my ankle. overall great experience!
Exceptional care and results. BMJ Physiotherapy at Marine Parade, took wonderful care of my mother, and her recovery was both fast and remarkable. A special thank you to Senior physiotherapist Chew Sook Fun for the professionalism, patience, and genuine care shown throughout her sessions. We felt very supported, and the quality of treatment truly made a difference. Highly recommended.
I’ve been seeing Physio Dylan from June to October for a suspected ATFL tear, and he has been nothing short of professional and knowledgeable. He explains every exercise clearly and how each one supports my recovery and strengthening. It was also my first time trying dry needling, and it unexpectedly helped relieve the pain and tension. I wouls also like to thank Pauline, who has been incredibly patient in following up on my appointment dates and times, even when I occasionally forgot to reply. Overall, a great experience with BMJ and I highly recommend Dylan for his expertise and great service.

BMJ Physiotherapy (Marine Parade) has not published a specific per-session rate on this listing. Singapore physiotherapy clinics typically charge S$80–180 for an initial assessment and S$70–150 for follow-up sessions, depending on treatment complexity and modalities used. Package deals covering multiple sessions are common and usually offer a modest discount over single-session rates. Before booking, confirm the initial consultation fee, whether follow-up sessions are priced differently, and whether any package requires a minimum commitment. Also ask whether the clinic accepts insurance direct-billing or Medisave (physiotherapy is Medisave-claimable under specific chronic conditions). See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
No GP referral is required to book directly with a private physiotherapy clinic in Singapore, though a referral letter is helpful if you intend to claim from an insurer or if your condition involves post-surgical rehabilitation where the surgeon's notes are relevant. At the first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and the onset and nature of your symptoms. The physiotherapist will conduct a physical assessment before any hands-on treatment begins. If your condition is complex or involves neurological symptoms, the clinician may recommend you see a specialist concurrently. Bring any existing imaging reports (X-rays, MRI scans) to your first appointment — they can significantly shorten the assessment process.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is publicly verifiable on the AHPC online register at bit.ly/ahpc-register — search by the individual physiotherapist's name before your appointment. BMJ Physiotherapy (Marine Parade) does not list specific regulatory licences on this profile, so it is advisable to confirm the treating physiotherapist's AHPC registration number directly with the clinic. A legitimate clinic will provide this without hesitation. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
