Families considering Brighton Montessori are encouraged to enquire early about available slots for their intended start month, as playgroup places can fill quickly, particularly around the January intake period. When you contact the centre, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, the settling-in approach for younger children, and whether the programme follows a structured Montessori curriculum throughout the day. It is also worth confirming whether your child, if a Singapore citizen, may qualify for ECDA subsidies, and requesting a copy of the parent contract in advance.
The most practical next step is to reach Brighton Montessori directly via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current slot availability and to arrange a centre visit before making any commitment.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

My grandchildren are enrolled in Brighton Montessori and recently performed at the K2 graduation concert. We all had a wonderful time watching the performances. Much appreciation to the teachers and principal for all the hard work they put into making it a successful concert, and all their time spent choreographing the routines, practicing with the kids, and arranging logistics! The kids also had a lot of fun and kept saying "The concert was great, right?" They were so proud of their own performance and gained a lot of confidence from the experience. Thank you teachers!

Special shoutout to the fantastic crew lead by Ms Carol, Ms Didi and 严老师 - from early days engagement to encourage the non-graduating class to participate , to multiple dance trainings and rehearsals. 2 of our children are already enrolled at Brighton Montessori in Kovan and we have no regrets, so our 3rd will be joining shortly too. Not only is the academic curriculum very sound, they organize a wide range of other activities to engage the parents and keep us involved. I really enjoy the ‘Class at work’ activity where parents are invited to sit in with their children in class for a morning. I was really impressed with the teachers and even brushed up on my own Mandarin. The photo attached is from their recent 30th anniversary event where the older kids were asked to perform, giving them more opportunities for building their confidence. Thank you to principal Ms Caroline and all the teachers for doing such a great job with the kids!
Brighton Montessori offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. Montessori apporoach emphasize on individualized learning, allowing children to explore every subjects at their own pace. The Montessori approach encourages independence, critical thinking and creativity, which is supported by dedicated and passionate teachers. Students also gets to express themselves on the weekly reflection journal which they feel uncomfortable to share verbally. Special shoutout to Ms Didi and Yan Laoshi for being so attentive and patient teaching my child and Ms Caroline for overseeing the school operation.
Attended the Brighton Montessori Year end concert last Sat and I have to say that it was a roaring success! Thank you to all teachers who tirelessly practice the dance steps with the children and organise it so seamlessly. We enjoyed ourselves!

Brighton Montessori is priced in the mid-range ($$) tier for Singapore playgroups, with fees charged on a monthly recurring basis. Beyond the headline monthly fee, families should ask about a one-off registration fee, a refundable deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any additional costs for uniforms, learning materials, or basic insurance coverage. Childcare and playgroup fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly figure quoted should be the amount you pay. Always request a full written fee schedule before signing any enrolment agreement. Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed childcare or playgroup centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and S$300 per month for childcare and playgroup places. Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may qualify for an additional Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. Lower-income households can also apply for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring total combined support to as much as S$710 per month depending on household income. Permanent resident children may receive partial subsidies. Subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so check the ECDA website directly for the most current figures before making enrolment decisions. Note that subsidy availability is also subject to Brighton Montessori holding the relevant ECDA licence — confirm this with the centre.
Popular playgroup and childcare centres in Singapore often fill their slots three to twelve months in advance, with the January intake being particularly competitive as it aligns with the start of the school year. Infant care places tend to have the longest waitlists, but playgroup spots at well-regarded Montessori programmes can also be limited, especially for specific age bands or session times. To secure a place, it is advisable to contact Brighton Montessori as early as possible to register your interest. Centres typically ask for a registration fee and, once a place is confirmed, a deposit to hold the slot. Reach out directly via phone or the enquiry form on this page to check current availability for your child's intended start date.
