I am very impressed and happy with the outcome of my home renovation. Ricky did a fantastic job with the house. He is an ID with a great amount of experience - from choosing lighting (which will actually make/break the house final look) matching paint and laminate for the house, to giving practical advice on our bto flat and is very clear with the design intents. He can be very detailed and showed that in his 3d models and material selections etc. He even drove us to shop for tiles, lighting, plumbing etc. He did his most to suggest and design for the theme that WE want and prefer, and is not pushy with his own subjective opinions and preferences - a quality I think is important for an ID so that the home owners actually gets their dream home that the owners themselves actually want! Ricky is also very resourceful thanks to his rich experience, (this is very valuable and not talked about as much) as he a great network of trusty contactors and sub-contractors plus good relationships with many local brands (for e.g. for smart home, air con and etc) and even overseas contacts! He is very respectful of the home renovation budget, something we learnt from other past reviews of him and through our own experience. He fought for the best price to match our budget, and is genuinely motivated to build our dream home at the best value for money - without neglecting quality and workmanship. He did well managing the contractors' work and timeline and was also quick to correct their mistakes, and had even personally help with faulty devices and replacement/ exchange if any. Home renovation is in fact a team effort with the home owners, ID and contractors, and we were able to achieve our dream home with Ricky as the POC for everything. As first time owners, we were anxious during the process, so we often quickly raise concerns or issues, big or small. And it is great that he is quick to rectify them if any. This helps to avoid any spill over issues downstream in the works. He is an outstanding ID who could gel everyone and everything well, with valuable design suggestions in order to achieve the best results for us.

We engaged Alvin and Serene from Butler Interior for our BTO renovation, and we were glad we went with them. They listened carefully to our requirements and offered practical suggestions and designs. Whether it was finalising the layout, choosing materials, or overseeing the renovation works on site, they handled everything with care and professionalism. The renovation was completed on time despite the Chinese New Year holidays and the final result exceeded our expectations. Every detail was thoughtfully considered. From the first discussion to the final handover, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about getting every detail right.
