Attended Nimble Paw’s Dachshund Strength Foundations Workshop last month and highly recommend it to fellow doxie pawrents looking to help strengthen their dogs’ bodies. Joey was incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire experience. Before our session, she reached out to understand our dog’s specific needs. During the workshop, she and her team generously shared their knowledge and delivered exactly what the course title promised—practical exercises tailored for dachshunds. The 1-to-1 hands-on segment with Clarice was especially helpful and built our confidence to safely carry out the exercises with our doxie. Even after the workshop, they followed up and offered continued support, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a very informative and well-run workshop, and we’re grateful for the guidance in helping our doxie stay strong and healthy. 🐾

I’m very happy with my cat Peony’s physiotherapy sessions. Peony has spinal issues and is very timid, but she genuinely seems to enjoy the massages and has warmed up to Joey more than I expected. I really appreciate that Joey went the extra mile by offering home visits, which makes a huge difference for a shy cat like mine. Progress has been gradual and encouraging, and I feel reassured knowing Peony is in gentle and caring hands. Highly recommended!

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and satisfaction with the physiotherapy services provided by Joey at Nimbles Paws for my dog, Butter. Butter suffered a hip dislocation and underwent a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO). Following surgery, he experienced significant muscle loss and weakness in his leg, resulting in a noticeable limp and a tendency to put excessive weight on his other leg. He also experienced episodes of pain requiring pain medication. After researching physiotherapy options online, Nimbles Paws stood out due to Joey's background as a human physiotherapist. Joey is friendly and knowledgeable. The initial assessment of Butter was professional and detailed, and I received a comprehensive report of the findings. I appreciated that Joey allowed me to decide whether to sign up for a package without any pressure. After just one lesson, I knew I had made the right choice. Each session includes demonstrations and is adapted to Butter's individual needs. Joey also allows ample time for me to practice with Butter, rather than pushing for weekly sessions, which has been incredibly beneficial for both of us. I highly recommend Nimbles Paws to anyone seeking physiotherapy for their beloved pets. Joey's expertise, compassion, and personalized approach have made a significant difference in Butter's recovery and overall well-being. In just 5 lessons, Butter has shown significant progress in activating his leg muscle. He has started using the leg, and is also gaining muscle. While muscle gain is currently still limited ,continue exercise and practice are expected to yield further improvement.

The Stretch & Massage class was very informative and definitely something worth starting early to help prevent future issues. I really appreciated that it’s not about randomly pressing your dog, but learning the right techniques and understanding what works best for your dog after various exercises. The physiotherapists were very patient with each dog and always respected their individual space. It’s a short course, but surprisingly informative and helpful.

We first brought our dog (Luna) for a gait analysis as we noticed that she wasn't putting a lot of weight on her hind right paw, and after Joey's assessment started on six sessions to build up her muscle strength! It was good that Joey affirmed our concerns and takes pre-hab seriously, which was very encouraging from the start. I really appreciate how patient and attentive Joey is, and how she'll always follow up to check in on how Luna's progressing in between sessions. Joey's also great with answering any questions we have, and would always demonstrate the exercises and tailor her suggestions to ensure they were Luna specific and achievable. I especially love how Joey works with your dog at their pace and really sees each dog as individuals! The clinic space is also very welcoming and well equipped. Would certainly recommend Joey if you have any concerns with your dog's physicality!
