About Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore

Enquiries typically begin by confirming the event format and headcount, as capacity varies significantly between standing cocktail, banquet round-table, and theatre seating configurations — cocktail standing typically accommodates 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated count for the same room. As a hotel venue, Capitol Kempinski is likely to operate an in-house F&B arrangement or minimum spend per guest in lieu of a separate hall rental, though external caterer policies and corkage terms should be confirmed directly. Audio-visual provision — PA system, projector, screen, and microphones — aircon hours, noise curfew, setup and teardown access windows outside the rented period, parking, and lift and ramp accessibility are all worth verifying before committing. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the venue is registered as a ROM solemnisation venue or whether a separate Justice of the Peace arrangement is required.
To take the next step, contact Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore directly via phone or the enquiry form to request a site recce, confirm room capacity for your specific event format, and obtain the full package terms in writing before paying any deposit.
Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
We stayed at this hotel from Feb 17-21, 2026. Family of 4 (2 kids ages 5 and 8). This was part of a larger trip including Penang and Bangkok. We love this hotel! We booked this hotel through Amex FHR. We received a room upgrade on arrival. The room was huge, with more than enough space for the 4 of us. Luxurious bathroom and shower. Fantastic amenities. Staff always helpful and smiling. Location is perfect with direct connection to MRT (City Hall station). Bus stops also nearby. Great breakfast with lots of options. Only negative would be small gym and pool. We were so sad to leave. Will definitely return!
We stayed here twice in the last month and both times were spectacular. They REALLY know service and the rooms are 5-star. We had a suite with a balcony. The breakfast each morning is divine, there are automatic curtains in each room, the bathrooms are high end and luxurious, they even include bubble bath, and the staff is truly incredible. The location next to the subway is great as well. We had an early flight to Thailand and it was a quick trip to Chiangi. The staff at the hotel made our stay very memorable and we will certainly be back. This was our first time to Singapore but it won’t be our last. We already booked our flights for November and we will be staying here again!
Great hotel. Luxury service, and the staff are very attentive and polite! The breakfast area is well-equipped with verify of options, but on top of all, the breakfast staff are very polite and professional. I really would like to thank each one of them, and special thanks to Mr. David who were very professional. Mr. David made sure that our stay is pleasant, he suggested great sightseeing places and activities that suit our child. At check in, it was smooth and we were greeted with great hospitality by the lady responsible for check in, she was very capable of her work - very family friendly place and staff
Just spent 3 days here , we were celebrating a special anniversary, the hotel made it special even more special. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The design of the hotel is beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. (Especially Cheryl who was so kind and helpful) Breakfast is just wonderful, anything you could wish for . Food quality excellent. Location is very good , you can get the underground directly from inside the arcade a few steps away from the hotel
We had a wonderful five-night stay at The Capitol Kempinski Singapore. The hotel is elegant, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located for exploring the city — but what truly made our visit exceptional was David, the Hotel Security Manager. David went above and beyond to help us plan our five days in Singapore. He helped organize a daily agenda, explained the best routes, arranged transportation, and ensured we were prepared each morning before heading out. His advice made visiting Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Gardens by the Bay, Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street, and CHIJMES effortless and enjoyable. Every day he checked in to make sure we were “good to go” and offered thoughtful recommendations and timing tips. His local knowledge and genuine care made our trip seamless and stress-free. We are incredibly grateful for his professionalism and kindness. Highly recommend this hotel — and if you meet David, you’re in excellent hands!

Hotel event venues at this tier typically price on a package basis rather than a simple hourly hall rate. Function rooms and smaller ballrooms at five-star Singapore hotels generally run S$3,000–10,000+ for a half-day and S$8,000–30,000+ for a full-day event, often structured around a minimum food and beverage spend per guest rather than a separate room-hire fee. Larger ballrooms command higher minimums. Itemise the full cost picture before signing: what is included in the package (A/V, linen, staff on-site, cleaning), whether setup and teardown access falls within the rented window or attracts an extended-hours surcharge, and any external-caterer corkage or photography permit fees. GST and service charge (typically 10% service charge at hotel venues) should be confirmed in the written quote. See the full venue rental cost guide for Singapore →
Capacity depends on the specific room and event format — standing cocktail receptions typically accommodate 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated count for the same space, with theatre seating sitting between the two. Capitol Kempinski should be able to provide a floor plan for each available room with capacity figures per layout. As a hotel property, the F&B arrangement is most likely in-house with a minimum spend per guest that replaces a separate hall hire fee. Confirm whether external caterers are permitted (and at what corkage per pax), whether there is an approved-caterer list, and what the bar and liquor policy is — house wine list versus BYO with corkage. For wedding solemnisations, confirm directly whether the venue holds ROM registration or whether a Justice of the Peace must be arranged separately.
Hotel event venues typically require a deposit of 30–50% of the estimated total spend to secure the date, with the balance settled at event completion or shortly before. Popular Saturday evenings, particularly during wedding season in March, April, October, and November, can book out 6–12 months ahead at well-regarded hotel properties. Confirm the noise curfew, parking arrangements (in-house or nearby paid carparks), lift and ramp accessibility, and what happens to the deposit if a force-majeure event — public-health restriction, extreme weather — forces postponement. Most reputable hotel venues allow rescheduling within 6–12 months without forfeiting the deposit, but the terms should be in writing. A site recce before paying any deposit is strongly recommended.
