About Care Corner MOW

About Care Corner MOW

Care Corner MOW provides meal delivery for seniors across Singapore, operating from its Woodlands Square office. The listing has been verified by KakiList and is registered with ACRA. It holds a 4.5/5 rating across 24 Google reviews — a moderate sample that offers a reasonable directional signal, though families should read individual reviews before engaging.

Families typically begin by contacting Care Corner MOW via phone or the online enquiry form to discuss the senior's dietary requirements, mobility status, and any medical conditions that may affect meal suitability. It is worth clarifying whether the service operates daily including weekends and public holidays, the delivery time windows, whether meals are freshly prepared or reheated, and whether there is flexibility for soft or modified-texture diets for seniors with swallowing difficulties. Confirm coverage for the senior's specific address, as delivery logistics can vary by district even within an islandwide service.

To get started, contact Care Corner MOW directly by phone or through the enquiry form to confirm meal options, delivery schedules, and pricing before committing to a regular arrangement.

I think you should seriously consider making your free hotline chargeable, say a flat rate of $1 per call, to deter callers who don't NEED help or don't WANT help to stop calling throughout the day.

Dear all Care Corner staff, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for enrolling my mother in the Care Corner Day Care programme. Your team has been incredibly friendly and welcoming, making this transition much easier for us. Knowing that my mother will be in good hands brings me great peace of mind. Thank you once again for your kindness and support.

Care Corner Counseling service is probably one of the most affordable, and yet professional services around. They have trained therapists with master degrees, and decades of experience. For example, their marriage therapist uses the Emotionally Focused Therapy method, which is different from the Gottman method and can sometimes be more effective. Their service is also fully confidential, with access being up a staircase, ensuring that you have the confidentiality of a private provider, and yet being charged the price of something more affordable. This is a must-use!

there is free counselling hotline.. i will said some counsellors are nice, whereas some are negative and toxic, and will say unkind things to add on to your sorrows. nevertheless, this is a free counselling hotline, so they are volunteers and may not be very well trained...

The counselor is very attentive and perceptive, with very good memory of previous discussions. Lots of techniques were shared on how to improve on issues and they really work for me.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Care Corner MOW charge?

Care Corner MOW has not published a specific price list, so families should contact the organisation directly to obtain current meal rates. Meals-on-wheels services in Singapore typically range from around S$3–8 per meal for subsidised community programmes to S$8–15 per meal for full-cost or private arrangements, depending on the provider and the level of subsidy applied. Beyond the per-meal cost, confirm whether there is a registration or assessment fee, a minimum number of meals per week, and whether delivery charges apply on top of the meal price. Some programmes factor in the senior's household income when determining the subsidised rate. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →

Live-in or visit-based — which does Care Corner MOW offer?

Care Corner MOW is a meal delivery service rather than a personal care or live-in arrangement. The scope is the preparation and doorstep delivery of meals to seniors at home, typically on a scheduled daily or weekday basis. It does not involve caregiver visits, medical care, or companionship beyond the delivery interaction itself. For families needing a broader package — personal care, medication reminders, or regular social contact — a separate home care or day-care arrangement would need to be arranged alongside the meal service. Care Corner MOW can be a practical complement to an existing care plan where cooking is a challenge but the senior is otherwise coping at home. Confirm the delivery window and frequency directly, as these affect how the service fits into the senior's daily routine.

Is the caregiver trained and insured?

Care Corner MOW is a meal delivery programme rather than a personal caregiving service, so the usual questions around nursing certification and caregiver training do not directly apply here. The relevant assurance to seek is food safety compliance — whether meals are prepared in a licensed kitchen with appropriate hygiene standards, and whether the organisation holds relevant regulatory approvals for food preparation or catering. Care Corner MOW does not currently list any regulatory licences on its KakiList profile, so families should ask directly about food safety practices, kitchen licensing, and any insurance coverage that applies if a delivery issue arises. If the senior has clinical nutritional needs, consult a dietitian or the senior's GP to confirm whether the meals offered are appropriate for their specific condition.
