About Champion Manpower Agency LLP

About Champion Manpower Agency LLP

Champion Manpower Agency LLP is a maid agency based at 865 Mountbatten Rd, #B1-61, Singapore 437844, offering islandwide FDW placement services. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The agency holds a 3.2/5 rating across 24 Google reviews — a moderate sample, though the below-average score warrants attention before proceeding. No MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence is currently listed in this directory record, and no ACRA registration has been confirmed; both should be verified directly with the agency before any payment is made.

When engaging a maid agency in Singapore, the process begins with determining whether you need a new-hire helper or a transfer helper — new hires typically involve a higher placement fee (market range S$1,500–3,500) and a longer lead time, while transfer helpers are generally faster to place at a lower fee (S$500–1,500). You will also need to budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability), mandatory FDW insurance, and the Settling-In Programme. Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, each with different salary norms and availability.

Contact Champion Manpower Agency LLP via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current helper profiles, confirm the MOM EA Licence number, and request a full written breakdown of placement fees and bundled services before committing.

Awful experience with Peter & his wife. Didn’t confirm with the helper if she was able to work with our family situation, keep pushing her to jump at any offer and in the end, 6 months was the biggest stretch we could handle with her. Tried alot of different adjustments and compromises but helper’s ideology was flawed despite 13 years of experience. Even after speaking with the agent for help, nothing helped, Agent just keep pressing on her to continue and avoid the issues we faced. Absolute waste of time. Package fees was split up so the 50% refund is basically nothing, he split agent fees and admin fees. Checked with another agency and they have a lot of outdated contractual terms and even included (to be deleted) within the contract my mom signed. Forget word of mouth, this agency is horrible at handling everything, from manpower to administration.

Champion Manpower Agency has always been my first choice when I need to get foreign domestic worker. Their service is good and efficient. Their charges also very reasonable. When I encountered problems from helpers, they always provide assistance till the issues are resolved. Thanks to Peter & Emelia and their Associates!

1 star is too high. We got a helper, Saminah, from them, and when the helper demanded to leave on short notice as she owed loan sharks money (that we only found out about after she left), this agency has been nothing but lazy, irresponsible, and unresponsive. After she left, we found out she stole thousands of dollars worth of valuables (jewellery, handbags, etc.) and guess what their response was? "We're not working at the moment." Looking at their past reviews, clearly their reputation is of no concern to them. Seems like they have a history of criminal helpers as well, with 2 reviews stating that their helper stole money from them. Do business with them at your own risk, or if you have spare cash in need of stealing.

The Indonesia maid from this agency is horrible. Claim that we did not give her food, even though we asked her. She claimed that she want to lose weight don't want to eat & now can twist her words and say we didn't feed. Her attitude was very bad towards my old age mother. She left on short notice without any consideration that my old age mother will be left alone at home with no care. Please screen your helper history and profile properly before you decide to engage any one of them. Irresponsibleuch a short notice and have problem

I think given the review, many of you would probably felt the same way. Anyways the maid agency is owned by husband Peter, and his wife. Quite unfortunate then they drag my free maid switch period from the 10th month all the way to 13th month, and due to maid unsuitability they say 13th month onwards you are not eligible for maid switch anymore. Sad that they hold to outlets and need to resort to despicable attitudes to cover the rent.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Champion Manpower Agency LLP charge?

Placement fees for a new-hire helper typically run S$1,500–3,500 at Singapore maid agencies; transfer helpers generally cost S$500–1,500. You should also account for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm in writing what is bundled into the placement fee — mandatory FDW insurance (typically S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application are sometimes included and sometimes billed separately. Champion Manpower Agency LLP has not published a specific price list on this directory; contact them directly for a written quote. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →

Is Champion Manpower Agency LLP MOM-licensed?

Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and all invoices. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; A+ and A grades signal stronger compliance and complaint-handling records. No MOM EA Licence is currently listed in this directory record for Champion Manpower Agency LLP. Before paying any deposit, search for the agency on MOM's online EA directory to confirm its licensed status and current grading. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your insurance. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.

What replacement guarantee does Champion Manpower Agency LLP offer?

A standard replacement guarantee at Singapore maid agencies typically covers a window of around six months from the helper's arrival date, with one or two replacements included. Confirm how many replacements are covered, what circumstances void the guarantee (for example, documented mismatch versus a change of mind), and what the cost of any additional replacement would be. Also clarify the early-termination process — if a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household is generally responsible for the helper's repatriation flight, Work Permit cancellation paperwork, and any unused levy refund. These costs can be significant, so understanding the full terms before signing is important. Champion Manpower Agency LLP has not published specific replacement policy terms on this listing; request the full agency contract and read the replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses carefully before committing.
