No matter how often we reached out, he was quick to respond. Whenever issues or defects were pointed out, he took prompt action and ensured they were resolved within a short time. My wife and I with a relatively popular design, the japandi-scandi color themes, and renovation was completed almost 2 months ago. What we liked about the entire renovation process: 1. Certain group of workers made effort to deliver and showed love for the house. The tilers, carpenters were noteworthy. Electricians were ok, a little expensive but no major issues 2. The ID Yang Horng has great technical depth and problem solving skills, and he is responsive. If you need to understand more about certain materials, considerations, and still try to get good balance between aesthetics and practicality, he is great in that. We went with some vendors separately instead of including everything from the ID, the cost was still a little higher than we expected but within reasonable boundaries. Parting thoughts: The house is a co-creation process, working with an ID should also (if time/effort permits) involve input and involvement from the houseowners too. Every renovation has problems, some by no fault of the ID firm, and the real challenge comes from identifying and fixing them together. Best if they are identified early! Thank you.

Yang Farn was the ID assigned to us at Charlotte's Carpentry. Thank you to Yang Farn and his team of Tilers, Electricians, Partitioners, Painters, Carpenters and Plumber for transforming our house into a dream home. One thing that stood out for Yang Farn was his responsiveness and resilience to solve the problem. During the renovation, he had always managed to communicate to us a solution for our concerns (even when it got slightly challenging). Based on these alone, it's a recommend la. For the system side, the quotation details, payment schedule, and timeline of the renovation from Charlotte's Carpentry were quite clear. Additionally, the workmanship of the Carpentry were really good (as their name suggested). Overall, we were satisfied with our renovation.

Finding the right ID is not easy — you’ll be working together for months! After meeting nine designers, I decided to go with Sabrina, and no regrets at all. Super easy to click with, open to ideas, and not pushy — she even stops me from spending more sometimes (that’s what friends are for, right?). She’s creative and hands-on, helped me with fengshui stuff, furniture choices, Taobao measurements and even smart home ideas. Also thoughtful about my elderly parents’ needs.
