I have always had a great experience at City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy. It’s a professional, clean, and well-organized clinic, where the entire team of osteopaths and physiotherapists works with high competence and genuine care for their patients. I have known Davide Bonanata for over a year, and I can confidently say he is an exceptional osteopath. From the very first session, his professionalism and expertise are evident: he can quickly identify the root of the problem and create a targeted, effective treatment plan. What I appreciate most about Davide Bonanata is his human approach to patient care. He listens attentively, explains each step of the treatment clearly, and makes you feel completely at ease. Having someone who speaks my own language, Italian, makes the visits even more comfortable and reassuring — almost like being at home. Additionally, his international experience, including time in New Zealand, has given him a remarkable ability to connect with people, understanding different needs with empathy and attention. I highly recommend Davide Bonanata to anyone looking for a professional, skilled, and attentive osteopath — someone who not only addresses physical issues but also makes you feel supported and confident throughout the entire treatment process.

I had a really good experience with the physiotherapist Madeline Soh. She is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain my condition in detail so I could clearly understand what was happening and why I was experiencing the pain. I really appreciated how patient and thorough she is in answering my questions. She also gave practical advice on how to manage the issue, including guiding me on the proper use of a wrist guard and how it could help support recovery. The explanation was again very clear. In addition, the receptionist was very friendly and approachable, which made the whole visit feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment I arrived. Overall, I’m very grateful for the professional guidance and the effort she put into educating me about my condition. It made a big difference in helping me feel reassured and better prepared to manage the problem.

Madeline is an exceptional physiotherapist! I came to see her for a shoulder issue and her expertise was evident immediately. She is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the 'why' behind every part of my treatment plan. We focused on shoulder mobility and her use of therapy, dry needling, or specific corrective exercises made a noticeable difference from the very first session. Thanks to her guidance and the tailored home exercise program, I’ve seen a significant improvement in my range of motion/strength. If you’re looking for a physio who is professional, thorough, and genuinely invested in your progress, I highly recommend Madeline! Five stars for both her skill and her patient-centered approach!

Because of my leg condition, I wasn’t able to attend gym classes or exercise like I used to for almost a year. My physiotherapist, Andrew, took the time to carefully listen to my situation and understand the goals I wanted to achieve. He then designed a rehabilitation plan that was realistic and sustainable for me, and he closely monitored my progress after each session. Initially, I thought the best outcome would simply be being painfree. But after several rehabilitation treatments and training sessions, I was able to return to gym classes and workouts again. More importantly, I’ve learned how to train without reinjuring my leg something I never expected would be possible. I’m truly grateful for Andrew’s support and encouragement throughout this process. If needed, I would definitely return to City Osteopathy & Physiotherapy Novena. Rehabilitation is not just about treatment or massage, it’s about learning how to use your body better.

The treatment felt professional and thoughtful, and I could tell they were very knowledgeable. Greatly recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does City Osteopathy & Physiotherapy (Bukit Timah) charge per session?

A specific per-session rate was not published at the time of listing. In Singapore, physiotherapy consultations at private clinics typically run S$80–180 per session, with the first assessment sometimes priced higher owing to its longer duration. Package rates for a course of treatment are usually available and reduce the per-session cost. Confirm the fee structure — including whether a separate initial assessment charge applies, what modalities are included, and whether GST is added — before your first appointment. End with: See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

A GP or specialist referral is not required to book a physiotherapy appointment directly, though having one can support insurance claims under Integrated Shield Plans or employer medical benefits — check your policy before attending. At the first visit, expect a structured intake assessment covering your condition, symptom history, functional limitations, and any prior imaging or reports. This assessment informs the treatment plan, so bring relevant documents. If your condition involves post-surgical rehabilitation, neurological involvement, or chronic pain, flag this when booking so the appropriate practitioner and session length can be allocated.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by name before your first session. City Osteopathy & Physiotherapy (Bukit Timah) did not list specific regulatory licences in its KakiList profile. Ask the clinic to confirm the full name and AHPC registration number of the practitioner who will be treating you, and verify this on the register independently. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
