About Contact Asia Pte Ltd

About Contact Asia Pte Ltd

Contact Asia Pte Ltd is a maid agency operating islandwide from its Beauty World Plaza office in Upper Bukit Timah. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, with a 4.2/5 rating across 25 Google reviews — a moderate sample. No MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence appears in the provider's recorded details, which is a mandatory requirement for any agency placing foreign domestic workers in Singapore; prospective clients should verify licence status directly on MOM's online EA directory before proceeding.

When engaging a maid agency, the key decisions are whether you are hiring a new helper from overseas or a transfer helper already in Singapore — the latter typically involves a lower placement fee and a shorter wait. Confirm what is bundled into the package: mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application. Also clarify the helper's monthly salary (which varies by nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy — S$300 at the standard rate, or S$60 at the concessionary rate for households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with a disability. Source-country options and the replacement guarantee window should be agreed in writing before any deposit is paid.

Reach Contact Asia Pte Ltd via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to discuss your household profile, preferred source country, and availability — then verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before signing any agreement.

Mr JC Lim and his team are very helpful in finding suitable helpers for my family. They are not the pushy kind of agent who just want to close the deal or go MIA after rejecting the first few choices. They will try their best to source and give honest opinions. They take time to interview the helpers and recommend if suitable. They don't rely on external agents to do the translations. Among his team, they can speak Burmese and indonesian to ensure that the client needs are properly communicated. I will recommend them to anyone. Very good agency!

We contacted Mr. Lim for finding a helper, though didnt finally close a deal, but we both impressived by the number and high matching rate ot their candidates. they must be resourceful and keep customer need in mind, help to screen out unmatch ones. compared with Contact Asia, we had to read a lot unmatch biodata before finally get the suitable one when ask some other agents

Mr. Lim and his team are very kind and helpful. He has helped to transfer my helper of 15years to a nice family. Hannah is also very reassuring to my helper, show care and concern. Prior to Contact Asia, I tried other agents and they were impersonal and insincere. I am glad I found Contact Asia.

I was recommended Contact Asia by a good friend who hired a helper through them. Her helper has been with her for more than 15 years already. Mr Lim and his staff were friendly and understanding as I shared about my 85-year-old mum's needs. He even visited my mum when I was away from Singapore to ensure she was well taken care of.

Mr Lim & the team at Contact Asia were patient, experienced and gave me valuable advice throughout the entire process of application for my helper. My previous helper had to go home urgently and within a couple of days Contact Asia managed to find me a new helper to suit my family’s requirements. My new helper has been great - cooks well, hardworking with lots of initiative and very willing to learn! Would highly recommend them! Thank you to the team at Contact Asia!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Contact Asia Pte Ltd charge?

Contact Asia Pte Ltd uses a package-based pricing model, though specific fees are not publicly listed. As a general guide, placement fees for a new hire in Singapore typically range from S$1,500 to S$3,500, while transfer helpers — already in Singapore on a current Work Permit — usually attract a lower placement fee of S$500 to S$1,500. Beyond the agency fee, factor in the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household qualifies), and mandatory FDW insurance (approximately S$300–600 per year). Confirm whether the Settling-In Programme, medical exam, and Work Permit application are bundled or billed separately. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →

Is Contact Asia Pte Ltd MOM-licensed?

Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is publicly verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's online EA directory. No EA Licence appears in Contact Asia Pte Ltd's recorded details on KakiList, so prospective clients should check the MOM directory directly before paying any deposit. The licence number should also appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A generally demonstrate stronger compliance and better complaint-handling records. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if a helper absconds or the agency folds, and can void your FDW insurance. Verify the licence on the MOM EA directory at mom.gov.sg before proceeding.

What replacement guarantee does Contact Asia Pte Ltd offer?

A standard replacement guarantee covers a window of around six months from the helper's arrival date. Confirm with Contact Asia Pte Ltd how many replacements are included within that period, what circumstances qualify (documented skills or conduct mismatch versus a change of mind), and what additional replacement fees apply once the guarantee lapses. Also clarify the early-termination process: if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window, the household typically bears the cost of the repatriation flight, Work Permit cancellation paperwork, and any unused levy. Understanding these terms before signing the agency contract prevents disputes later. Raise these questions directly with the agency via WhatsApp or phone, and request all terms in writing before paying.
