Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Serena is very experienced and meticulous. She was very patient and answered whatever queries I had. She was detailed in her explanations and explained everything in a manner that I could understand. Kesh was amazing. She worked on my back with absolute precision and was able to pinpoint where the knots were and release them. I really appreciate the care that was given to me.
Core concepts physiotherapy has been amazing in my recovery journey after a hip disorder diagnosis. When I went in first, I had perpetual pain and some mobility compromise. The professionals here are experienced and super nice, and make you feel very comfortable right off the bat. The diagnosis was detailed and very well explained to me and the sessions included pain management as well as strengthening exercises. I saw positive results very soon and am very thankful. They also charted out a clear follow-up and maintenance level for my exercises during discharge which makes me confident to manage my condition myself. Shout-out to Serena, Myra and Haikal for the help! They're great, highly recommended.
Was struggling with daily heel pain and had a couple of physio sessions with Kesh to treat the plantar fasciitis issue. Kesh was thorough in assessing my condition, and gave practical and simple exercises that I could do at home. Compiled with the physio sessions, I felt improvement in my condition. Hopefully the pain can continue improving with the next few sessions!
I’ve seen Heiko for a couple of times now and he is quick to help make some tweaks to the exercises so as to ‘fire up’ the specific muscles more quickly. A friendly trainer whom I will highly recommend to anyone out there. Thanks, Heiko!
Highly professional & effective. The place is great and BK, Randall & Haikal really know their stuff. My back pain has improved significantly after attending the physio sessions

You do not need a GP referral to book a physiotherapy appointment at Core Concepts (Harbourfront) — self-referral is standard practice for physiotherapy in Singapore. That said, bringing any relevant medical documents (imaging reports, discharge summaries, or specialist letters) to the first visit helps the physiotherapist assess your condition more accurately and avoids duplicating investigations. If you intend to claim physiotherapy costs through an employer's medical insurance or an integrated shield plan, check your insurer's requirements before booking — some policies require a GP or specialist referral letter for the claim to be processed. Patients with complex or post-surgical conditions may also find that a referral letter from the treating surgeon aids continuity of care between the hospital and the outpatient physiotherapy setting.
Physiotherapists in Singapore are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is mandatory — only AHPC-registered physiotherapists may legally practise and use the title. You can verify any physiotherapist's registration by name on the AHPC public register at the MOH website before your appointment. No regulatory licence details are currently held on file for Core Concepts (Harbourfront) on this listing. Before your first session, ask the practice to confirm the full name and AHPC registration number of the physiotherapist you will be seeing, then cross-check on the public register. This step takes under a minute and ensures you are treated by a qualified, currently registered professional. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
