New clients typically begin with an initial consultation in which the physiotherapist takes a detailed history of the presenting condition — whether that is acute injury, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic musculoskeletal pain, sports-related strain, or postural dysfunction. From there, a treatment plan is proposed covering session frequency, modalities likely to be used (manual therapy, dry needling, exercise rehabilitation, or others as appropriate), and an honest estimate of how many sessions may be needed. Clients should also clarify at the outset whether they are claiming under a corporate health benefit, MediSave (where applicable for chronic conditions), or personal insurance, as this affects how the engagement is structured. Core Concepts operates from a central CBD location, making it convenient for working adults with daytime or lunchtime availability.
To book an initial consultation, contact Core Concepts (Raffles Place) directly via phone or the enquiry form on their listing, and mention the nature of your condition so the clinic can assign the most suitable physiotherapist for your needs.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Serena is very experienced and meticulous. She was very patient and answered whatever queries I had. She was detailed in her explanations and explained everything in a manner that I could understand. Kesh was amazing. She worked on my back with absolute precision and was able to pinpoint where the knots were and release them. I really appreciate the care that was given to me.
Core concepts physiotherapy has been amazing in my recovery journey after a hip disorder diagnosis. When I went in first, I had perpetual pain and some mobility compromise. The professionals here are experienced and super nice, and make you feel very comfortable right off the bat. The diagnosis was detailed and very well explained to me and the sessions included pain management as well as strengthening exercises. I saw positive results very soon and am very thankful. They also charted out a clear follow-up and maintenance level for my exercises during discharge which makes me confident to manage my condition myself. Shout-out to Serena, Myra and Haikal for the help! They're great, highly recommended.
Was struggling with daily heel pain and had a couple of physio sessions with Kesh to treat the plantar fasciitis issue. Kesh was thorough in assessing my condition, and gave practical and simple exercises that I could do at home. Compiled with the physio sessions, I felt improvement in my condition. Hopefully the pain can continue improving with the next few sessions!
I’ve seen Heiko for a couple of times now and he is quick to help make some tweaks to the exercises so as to ‘fire up’ the specific muscles more quickly. A friendly trainer whom I will highly recommend to anyone out there. Thanks, Heiko!
Highly professional & effective. The place is great and BK, Randall & Haikal really know their stuff. My back pain has improved significantly after attending the physio sessions

Core Concepts (Raffles Place) does not publish a fixed session rate publicly, so the exact fee should be confirmed when you book. For context, physiotherapy consultations in Singapore typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session at private clinics, with initial assessments sometimes priced higher than follow-up appointments. Some practices also offer session packages at a slight discount for clients committing to a course of treatment. Confirm at the point of booking whether your employer's corporate health benefit, personal health insurance, or — where eligible for chronic condition management — MediSave can be applied. GST applies to physiotherapy services at private clinics. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
You do not generally need a GP referral to book a private physiotherapy appointment at Core Concepts (Raffles Place) — you can self-refer directly. However, if you intend to claim through a corporate health plan or personal insurance, your insurer may require a doctor's referral letter before they will reimburse the sessions, so check your policy before booking. At the first appointment, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and the nature of your complaint. The physiotherapist will then conduct a physical assessment before proposing a treatment plan. If your condition is complex or involves recent surgery, bringing any relevant imaging (MRI, X-ray) or surgical notes will help the therapist work more effectively from the first session.
Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at ahpc.edu.sg — search by the practitioner's name before or after your first appointment. An AHPC-registered physiotherapist has met the educational and competency requirements set by the Ministry of Health. Core Concepts (Raffles Place) does not list specific regulatory licences in its KakiList profile, so it is worth confirming the individual therapist's AHPC registration number directly with the clinic. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
