About Core Concepts (Tampines Plaza)

About Core Concepts (Tampines Plaza)

Core Concepts (Tampines Plaza) is a physiotherapy practice operating in Singapore, listed under the Wellness category on KakiList. The listing has been verified by a KakiList team member. With 940 Google reviews at a rating of 4.9 out of 5, the public feedback sample is robust and reflects a consistently well-regarded service. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level, though specific session fees were not provided and should be confirmed directly with the practice.

Patients typically begin with a first consultation, during which the physiotherapist conducts an assessment to understand the presenting condition — whether that is musculoskeletal pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury, or a chronic mobility issue. From there, a treatment plan is agreed, which may involve hands-on manual therapy, guided exercise, or modalities such as dry needling or ultrasound therapy. Sessions may be booked individually or as part of a course of treatment, and the practice can advise on whether a GP referral letter would assist with insurance claims or Medisave usage for eligible conditions. A cancellation policy should be confirmed at the point of booking.

To take the next step, contact Core Concepts (Tampines Plaza) directly by phone or through their enquiry form to describe your condition and request an initial assessment appointment.

Serena is very experienced and meticulous. She was very patient and answered whatever queries I had. She was detailed in her explanations and explained everything in a manner that I could understand. Kesh was amazing. She worked on my back with absolute precision and was able to pinpoint where the knots were and release them. I really appreciate the care that was given to me.

Core concepts physiotherapy has been amazing in my recovery journey after a hip disorder diagnosis. When I went in first, I had perpetual pain and some mobility compromise. The professionals here are experienced and super nice, and make you feel very comfortable right off the bat. The diagnosis was detailed and very well explained to me and the sessions included pain management as well as strengthening exercises. I saw positive results very soon and am very thankful. They also charted out a clear follow-up and maintenance level for my exercises during discharge which makes me confident to manage my condition myself. Shout-out to Serena, Myra and Haikal for the help! They're great, highly recommended.

Was struggling with daily heel pain and had a couple of physio sessions with Kesh to treat the plantar fasciitis issue. Kesh was thorough in assessing my condition, and gave practical and simple exercises that I could do at home. Compiled with the physio sessions, I felt improvement in my condition. Hopefully the pain can continue improving with the next few sessions!

I’ve seen Heiko for a couple of times now and he is quick to help make some tweaks to the exercises so as to ‘fire up’ the specific muscles more quickly. A friendly trainer whom I will highly recommend to anyone out there. Thanks, Heiko!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Core Concepts (Tampines Plaza) charge per session?

Core Concepts (Tampines Plaza) has not published a specific session rate on its KakiList listing, and pricing is indicated at a mid-range level. Singapore physiotherapy consultations typically run S$80–160 per session at private practices, with initial assessments sometimes priced higher than follow-up sessions. Package rates for a fixed number of sessions are common and generally offer a modest saving over per-session billing. Confirm the per-session fee, any surcharge for specialised modalities (dry needling, ultrasound, shockwave therapy), and the cancellation or no-show policy before your first appointment. A GP referral letter may be required or beneficial if you intend to claim through an insurer or use Medisave for eligible conditions. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

Physiotherapy practices in Singapore generally accept direct bookings without a GP referral, though a referral letter can be helpful if you plan to make an insurance claim or seek Medisave reimbursement under the Community Health Assist Scheme or an integrated shield plan. At your first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and the nature of your complaint. The physiotherapist will carry out a physical assessment before any hands-on treatment begins, so it is worth arriving with a clear account of when the problem started, what aggravates or relieves it, and any imaging or specialist reports you already have. Inform the clinic of any contraindications — such as recent surgery, pregnancy, or active infection — when booking, as these may affect which treatment modalities are appropriate.

Is the practitioner at Core Concepts (Tampines Plaza) licensed?

Physiotherapists in Singapore are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is mandatory to practise legally, and the public register is searchable on the AHPC website by name. Confirm the full name of the physiotherapist you will be seeing and cross-check their registration status before your appointment. No regulatory licences were listed for Core Concepts (Tampines Plaza) on KakiList at the time of this listing, and the practice does not appear in the ACRA registry as verified here. This does not necessarily indicate a problem, but it does mean you should verify the treating physiotherapist's individual AHPC registration directly before booking. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
