When enquiring about a booking, start by sharing your event format — standing cocktail, banquet round-table, or theatre seating — as capacity figures differ significantly between these layouts, with cocktail typically accommodating 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number. Confirm the floor plan and whether the space can be configured flexibly. Ask about in-house food and beverage versus external caterer policy, including any corkage fee or approved-caterer list, bar service and any applicable Liquor Licence, and the audio-visual provision (PA system, projector, screen, microphones, and lighting). Clarify aircon hours, soundproofing, and any noise curfew, as well as parking availability and accessibility (lift, ramp, accessible toilets). Setup and teardown access is often outside the rented window, so confirm those windows in writing. If you are planning a wedding solemnisation, check whether the venue is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether you will need to arrange a Justice of the Peace separately.
To begin the booking process, reach out to Cosy Singapore via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your event date, expected guest count, preferred layout, and any F&B or A/V requirements — then arrange a site recce before paying any deposit.
Do a site recce, confirm capacity for your specific event format (cocktail / banquet / theatre), and put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup/teardown access, and rescheduling terms in writing before paying the deposit.
The Deskimo booking page did not disclose that the air-conditioning would be turned off in the afternoon. The room became extremely hot and uncomfortable, making it impossible to work. I paid for a full-day booking, but did not receive the proper service. Very disappointing.
a private and well lit space with an overhead fan! reasonable prices, with great internet speed too! it's well connected with nearby busstops and mrt, so i believe this is a really great spot for some quiet, self-study/work/personal time!
Cozy Corner is a great find! The environment is calm, quiet, and perfect for focused work or private meetings. I booked a single-person room, the process was super easy, and the instructions for entry were clear and straightforward. The space felt very private, and the ceiling fan was a big plus, it kept the room well-ventilated and comfortable throughout. Highly recommend Cozy Corner to anyone looking for a quiet, private space to work or meet. Will definitely come back!
Very good working/study place. Got second monitor to use, fan is strong. Very quiet which i like, unlike public library. Only downside is the toilet, needs to go Level 1 Security to pay 20 cents & ask for key. And bring your own water. I regret not bringing my own.
TL;DR - Amazing value for the amount of privacy one gets here! Not super quiet but already so much quieter than most co-working spaces that have no private rooms. See tip at the end of this long review for first-timers. An introvert’s delight. No need to deal with people and a truly private workspace. The value cannot be beat. You get a little room to yourself (which you can lock) at the very low price of ~$4 an hour. Having a key also means you can leave your stuff and explore the hood to grab some food or some fresh air. If you are not fussy, there’s also instant coffee, some snacks (Oreos today) and access to a toilet and drinking water. Wow. For my first experience, I got room 15, which is one room away from the window. This also means there are no windows, so those who need natural light may want to opt for the outwards facing ones (but expect road noise - you can’t have it all!). The room is equipped with a table, a comfortable enough chair, a lil trolley to put your stuff on, a power strip for all your hungry devices and a monitor (connects via provided HDMI cable - the one in room 15 is an Acer SA241Y 23.8” IPS monitor). There is a dimmer switch for the ceiling light but anything lesser than full brightness will result in flickering. Again, note that all of the above is my experience specific to room 15, so YMMV. As for the acoustic experience, the rooms are clearly not soundproof, so that means you can hear when people are talking loudly and walking along the corridor. Another reviewer mentioned gagging noises. I heard that too… but perhaps

Venue rental pricing typically takes one of two shapes — an hourly hall rate or an all-in per-event package. Function rooms in Singapore generally run S$100–500 per hour with a two- to four-hour minimum, while ballrooms and larger spaces sit at S$300–1,500 or more per hour. Package pricing for a half-day at a small or mid-sized venue typically starts from S$1,500–8,000, with full-day ballroom packages running S$8,000–30,000 or more. Beyond the headline rate, confirm what is included: aircon hours, basic A/V equipment, on-site staff, and cleaning. Common add-ons include external-caterer corkage (typically S$3–8 per person), in-house F&B minimum spend, liquor corkage if you are bringing your own, and extended-hours surcharges at roughly 1.5 to 2 times the standard rate. Capacity depends on the event format — standing cocktail typically fits 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number, with theatre seating sitting between the two. Request the floor plan with dimensions so you can verify the layout works for your guest count and table or seating arrangement before paying a deposit. For food and beverage, confirm whether the venue operates in-house F&B only, permits external caterers (with or without a corkage fee), or allows a bring-your-own arrangement. In-house F&B venues usually set a minimum spend per person that replaces the hall rental fee. External-caterer venues charge a per-person corkage and may maintain a list of approved caterers. If alcohol is on the menu, ask whether the venue holds a Liquor Licence or whether you will need to arrange that separately. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether Cosy Singapore is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether you need to arrange a Justice of the Peace independently.
The Singapore industry standard is a deposit of 30–50% on signing to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evening slots, particularly during wedding season in March, April, October, and November, can book out six to twelve months in advance, so enquire early if your date is firm. Confirm the noise curfew (typically 10–11pm in residential-adjacent venues), parking arrangements, and accessibility features including lift access, ramps, and accessible toilets. Ask what happens if a force-majeure event — such as adverse weather or a public-health restriction — requires postponement; most reputable venues allow rescheduling within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit. A site recce before paying any deposit is strongly recommended. Put the F&B policy, A/V inclusions, noise curfew, setup and teardown access windows, and rescheduling terms in writing before signing.
