Our ID, Ashley Loh, was wonderful to work with when we did our home renovation. From the initial brief of what we hoped of our new home, Ashley was able to integrate all of our hopes and dreams into the design. It wasn’t just an excellent maximizing of the use of space, but it was also aesthetically pleasing! Ashley was also wonderful in the management of the renovation process. She was meticulous and sensitive to our design tastes such that she was able to very quickly discern our preference palate. This greatly helped us make quick and easy decisions on our home finishings and colour profiles. As we were also busy at work, Ashley helped make the entire process very smooth and efficient in the way she was spot on with recommending palates that she knew we would like. We would strongly recommend Ashley! We are very thankful to Ashley for making our dream home a reality and for her meticulous attention to detail!

Have you watched the J-drama 魔法のリノベ (Renovation Like Magic)? It is about a home renovation company where the lead actor and actress worked together to make the clients' home a dream come true. Weren't we glad when we found our ID, Ashley Loh from D'Initial Concept in real-life who carefully listens to our wants and needs, and magically transforms our dream to reality. Ashley strongly believes in matching practicality with looks, which the end-product was a testimony to her belief. She also believes that renovation should not be a stressful process for the clients. I believe it is this professionalism, dedication and pride Ashley holds as an interior designer that make our renovation process journey a fuss-free and enjoyable one. Thank you Ashley. Disappointed that our assigned ID, Akemi, was 30 mins late to our first zoom call and was not contactable (called, texted, emailed) in that period. She probably should have scheduled a meeting at a more appropriate time for her. Also, in our first email to her, we shared a soft copy of our moodboard, which included the floor plan in one of the slides. She then replied by asking us for the floor plan document. When we told her it’s in the slides, she continued to ask us for it. This was extremely puzzling. Other IDs never had to ask us for a separate copy of the floor plan. Definitely feel like we dodged a bullet!

Worked with Ashley for a complete reno of my 5 room resale flat. I chose Ashley as my trusted ID after visiting 5 ID firms as she gave the most professional and comprehensive introduction at our first meetup. During the entire process from design to renovation, Ashley is always positive, patient and reassuring whenever I'm faced with a design dilemma. She is very approachable and responsive, I can go to her for any sorts of questions, big or small. She is very busy, so is her team of contractors but she does her best to provide me a good experience. I highly recommend those who are looking for an ID to chat Ashley up to find out more!

Our Reno journey with Jaslyn has been an exceptional and highly professional experience. Of cos there will be ups and downs through the journey, but she is able be manage it well and is able to address our concerns and quires promptly. Jaslyn has also a keen eye for details and have showed us a high level of expertise. She is the only ID out of the 9 that we had visited, that manage to address the awkward table position. From the start, she has displayed a masterful level of using SketchUp to enable us visualise the concept on the fly. With all the good things said, I must say the price is on the higher end. But I must also say, how many ID will produce a final result that is almost the same as the 3D drawing.
