About Dans Services

The listing is KakiList-verified, and the agency holds a 4.3/5 rating across 43 Google reviews, which represents a moderate sample. When engaging a maid agency, the process typically begins with discussing your household's needs — the type of help required, preferred source country (Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar, or Sri Lanka), and whether you are seeking a new-hire helper or a transfer helper already in Singapore. The agency should walk you through the full cost picture: the placement fee, the helper's monthly salary (typically S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability), as well as bundled costs such as FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application. Confirm what is included in the quoted fee and what is billed separately. Ask about the replacement guarantee window and the terms under which it applies.
To take the next step, contact Dans Services by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, and before paying any deposit, verify their MOM EA Licence number on the official MOM online EA directory.
Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
Think THRICE before engaging them as your agent for maids. It was an utterly terrifying experience engaging them. BE WARNED! The first helper they recommended came over to our place and literally could not work. She literally slept in her maids room the entire day for a week before being returned to the agency. apparently this maid was afraid of heights. The agency was aware that we are staying in a high rise apartment but still continued to recommend this helper. When we confronted them, they acted like this was new news to them, they were victims of this helper as well, whom apparently 'lied' to them. Where is the due diligence done by the agency after all the hefty fees we have paid to them? Almost 90% of Singapore properties are high rise. A refund was not offered and we were pressured to take another helper from them as replacement. And yes, even with a replacement, we had a new set of fees to pay. We felt very shortchanged. Months later another helper came. She had a real attitude problem and treated our house like her own village. She was picky on what she wanted to eat. Refused to eat food that our family eats. Had big issues following instructions such as opening the windows every morning. Worst was when she walked around the house not wearing a bra. Some instances she still had the audacity to come out of the shower just draped in a towel. This behavior is unacceptable and we decided to send her back. This was the real beginning of our nightmare. We sent her back to the agency early in the morning and informed them that we would like to send her back to the Philippines. That was when the agency started to mis-lead and threaten us on the procedure. We informed them early in the day that we wanted to buy an Air ticket to send her back. We also wanted to cancel her work permit immediately as we did not want to incur anymore levy costs. Susan kept telling us not to book the air ticket and told us that we should pass her permit on to the agency to be under their care so that they are able to transfer her to a new employer. As I did not want another employer to go through the same anguish as my family, I asked for advise on how to cancel the work permit and asked for the helpers whereabouts. They threatened me by saying if I proceeded to cancel the work permit, I will have negative repercussions and will not be able to hire another Pilipino helper in the future. As clarified with MOM, this is totally an empty threat. They further told me that they were 'not sure' on where my helper's whereabouts were so I cannot book the air ticket. Later on, we found out that the agency brought the helper to MOM to make a report. They took her there WITHOUT our knowledge and consent and delayed her repatriation. We received a call from MOM after their investigations and they found out that this whole episode was a plain waste of everyone's time. Kudos to MOM, we managed to get them to instruct the agency to assist with the repatriation. This whole episode shows how devious this agency can be in trying to achieve their sales agenda. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I’m extremely happy with the service provided by Dans services. From the very beginning, they accommodated me and helped me through the process of matching with my boss. We hired two Filipino helpers through this agency and it has been a pleasant and smooth experience overall. There was a small hiccup with the first hire, but the team was quick to step in and help us find a better fit — and we truly appreciated their efficiency and genuine care throughout the process. What stood out was their personal touch — they didn’t just stop after placing the helper. They made sure everything was in place, and even continued to check in on the helper’s progress after deployment. That level of service means a lot! Special thanks to Ms. Roshel for her hard work and clear explanations from the start (no hidden charges at all), and also to Ms. Susan for the great support. We highly recommend this agency for anyone looking for a trustworthy, fast, and professional service.

Placement fees at maid agencies in Singapore typically run S$1,500–3,500 for a new-hire helper sourced from overseas, or S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper already in Singapore. Beyond the placement fee, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard rate, reducible to S$60 concessionary rate if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Check carefully what is bundled into the quoted fee. Legitimate agencies typically include mandatory FDW insurance (roughly S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, the pre-deployment medical examination, and Work Permit application processing. Items billed separately can add meaningfully to the total first-year cost. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's publicly accessible online EA directory. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. No MOM EA Licence has been confirmed in the current listing data for Dans Services, so verifying their licensed status directly on the MOM directory before paying any deposit is essential. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A have demonstrated stronger compliance and complaint-handling records. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your FDW insurance policy. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
Standard replacement guarantees at Singapore maid agencies typically cover a window of six months from the helper's arrival date. Confirm how many free replacements are included within that window, what circumstances qualify — documented mismatch or performance issues generally qualify, whereas a change of mind may not — and what a replacement costs once the guarantee period expires. Also clarify the early-termination process if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window. The household is responsible for repatriation flight costs, refund of any unused MOM levy, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork, and these costs can be substantial. Understanding the agency's process and support for early termination before signing is as important as understanding the replacement terms. Ask Dans Services to provide the full replacement and early-termination terms in writing before committing.
