About Ding Caters
Ding Caters is a meal delivery service for seniors, operating islandwide from its premises at 2 Tessensohn Road. The listing has been verified by KakiList and is registered with ACRA. It holds a 4.3/5 rating across 24 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that provides a reasonable directional signal, though prospective clients should read individual reviews carefully before proceeding.
When considering a meal delivery arrangement for an elderly family member, the key questions to work through are dietary requirements (low sodium, diabetic-friendly, soft or minced textures for those with chewing or swallowing difficulties), portion size and frequency (lunch only, or lunch and dinner), and any religious or cultural food preferences. It is worth confirming how far in advance orders must be placed, whether there is a minimum subscription period, and what the process is if a delivery is missed or a meal is not suitable. Families managing care at a distance may also want to ask about packaging — whether containers are easy for seniors to open and microwave independently.
To get started, contact Ding Caters via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to discuss the senior's dietary needs and preferred delivery schedule, and to confirm current coverage for the specific address.

Ordered through foodline. The nasi goreng kampung was inedible. Took one bite and the whole rice was SLIMEY! Texture was mushy and I immediately spat it out. The other guests also said it was spoilt. Threw away the whole box! Wasted my money. The other food were quite bad too (taste wise and texture). Don't ever get food catering from this company. Horrible aftersales service (NO REPLIES AT ALL) when I contacted them at 7.47pm.
Island Catering always delivers on their promise of good food! Highly recommended for corporate events. They also provide utensils for the mini buffet.
I catered food from Island Catering Singapore for my birthday party, and it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the party enjoyed the food, and I received so many compliments on the quality and taste. Highly recommend them for any event!
Great food quality and excellent service. Everything was fresh, hygienic, and served on time. Highly recommended
Order for CNY2025 catering, the food is horrible. The salted chicken looks like mud chicken, tasteless and chicken is soggy. The noodle look like soak in water for many hours. The fried rice is tasteless. The prawn taste i cant describe because i cant taste what they are trying to cook. The dish is just terrible. The lemon fish taste and look like soak in lemon sauce since yesterday. Will not recommend and order again.

Ding Caters is listed at a moderate price point ($$), though specific per-meal or per-package pricing is not publicly displayed. Meal delivery for seniors in Singapore typically runs S$8–18 per meal depending on portion size, dietary customisation (e.g. low-sodium, diabetic-friendly, soft-diet), and delivery frequency. When enquiring, confirm whether pricing is per meal, per day, or on a weekly or monthly subscription, and whether there are delivery surcharges for certain areas or time slots. Also check whether containers, cutlery, or dietary supplements are included in the quoted price. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Ding Caters focuses specifically on meal delivery for seniors rather than in-home personal care or companionship visits. This makes it suitable for seniors who are largely independent but need reliable, nutritionally appropriate meals delivered to their home — particularly where family members are not available to cook daily. If the senior also requires assistance with mobility, personal hygiene, medication management, or medical monitoring, meal delivery would complement but not replace a home care or day care arrangement. In that case, it is worth coordinating with a separately arranged home care provider or an AIC-registered agency for those clinical and personal care needs.
As a meal delivery service rather than a clinical care provider, Ding Caters would not typically carry nursing or caregiver certification — the relevant concern here is food safety handling and delivery reliability rather than medical training. No regulatory licences are listed on this profile. Before committing to a regular subscription, it is advisable to confirm directly whether the provider holds an SFA Food Shop Licence or Catering Licence, what hygiene standards govern the kitchen, and whether the business carries public liability insurance covering delivery personnel. Insist on a trial period and put the delivery schedule, pricing, and substitution policy in writing.
