About Domestic 21 Maid Agency
Domestic 21 Maid Agency is a domestic help provider in Singapore, operating islandwide from its office at Blk 624 Choa Chu Kang St 62. The listing has been verified by KakiList and the business is registered with ACRA. It currently holds a 5/5 rating across 5 Google reviews — a very small sample that should be treated as directional only, not a reliable signal of consistent service quality. No MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence has been recorded in this listing, which is a mandatory requirement for any agency placing foreign domestic workers in Singapore.
When engaging a maid agency, the key steps are: confirming the agency's MOM EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit; clarifying whether you are hiring a new helper (typically a higher placement fee) or a transfer helper (lower fee, faster deployment); and understanding the monthly costs beyond the agency fee — the helper's salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household includes a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm whether mandatory items such as FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, the medical examination, and Work Permit application are bundled into the quoted fee or billed separately. Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, each with different salary norms and skill profiles.

We were served by Emily at Domestic 21. She was quick, prompt, and accurate. Also appreciated her honesty, and her willingness to remain open all 7 days of the week. Fees are very competitive, transparent, and fair to the employer.
Domestic 21 Maid Agency is the best and honest Agency I have encountered so far. I heard of many horrible and irresponsible agencies but it's definitely not Domestic 21. I have been using their services since my first born with the helper stayed with me for 8 years and subsequently many other helpers engaged through Domestic 21. My first born is 23 now!! Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Agency helped me with the return of my last helper in August 2022 and I have since engaged a new helper, of course through Domestic 21 too! As informed by Domestic 21 beforehand, the helper is very new and may not have much experience but I am willing to give it a go with plan to teach and train the new helper. She is very smart and can understand our instructions very well. I am so impressed with the high caliber of the helper and grateful to the Agency for such a good recommendation. Thank you Domestic 21! Thank you Emelie! You are such a gem too!
Service is great! Indonesian maid I just take can take care my mother well.

Placement fees at maid agencies in Singapore typically run S$1,500–3,500 for a new-hire helper and S$500–1,500 for a transfer helper already in Singapore. Beyond the agency fee, factor in the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household has a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm in writing what is bundled into the quoted fee versus billed separately — mandatory FDW insurance (roughly S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, the pre-employment medical examination, and Work Permit application fees can add meaningfully to the total. Domestic 21 Maid Agency uses a package pricing model, so request a full itemised quote before committing. See the full maid agency cost guide for Singapore →
Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence — verifiable by name or licence number on MOM's publicly accessible online EA directory. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; A+ and A grades signal stronger compliance history and better complaint handling. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your FDW insurance. No MOM EA Licence has been recorded in this listing for Domestic 21 Maid Agency. This is a mandatory licence for any agency placing foreign domestic workers — verify its status directly on the MOM EA directory before proceeding. A standard replacement guarantee covers a defined window — typically six months from the helper's arrival date — during which the agency will source a replacement helper if the placement does not work out. Confirm how many replacements are included, what circumstances void the guarantee (for example, documented conduct issues versus general dissatisfaction), and whether there is an additional fee for replacements beyond the first. Also clarify the early-termination process if the placement breaks down outside the guarantee window. Repatriation flight costs, refund of unused MOM levy, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork are typically the household's responsibility in those cases. Get the full replacement and refund terms in writing before signing any agreement. Verify the MOM EA Licence number on the MOM online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
