Fabian and Zann did an excellent job on my house renovation project (resale 4-room flat at Bukit Batok). The overall project duration was just nice—although it extended by a few weeks, this was something I had already catered additional time for, so it wasn’t an issue. The pricing was reasonable as well. He provided realistic and practical ideas and also proposed how if I want to make elevate it which gives me better choices. Fabian shared many good ideas and suggestions during our meet-ups. He was able to provide renderings and 3D drawings based on our inputs, which really helped us visualise how everything would turn out. Once the renovation started, he also sent us regular progress updates, which was reassuring. Communication was satisfactory. Whenever issues arose, Fabian was very prompt in stepping in, providing support, and resolving them accordingly. All the contractors and workers involved were professional and did a good job. I would highly recommend Fabian and Zann from Dots N Tots to anyone looking for an interior designer. Thank you for your professionalism, creativity, and a job well done!
We engaged Lavoy from Dots n Tots after meeting with a few IDs, because from the beginning he already went above and beyond to help us do some 3D space planning based on our layout, even before our first meeting. We also felt comfortable with his vibe and work style, which led us to choose him as our ID for our first home. Throughout the months leading up to our renovation and during the actual renovation itself, Lavoy was always patient, well-planned, organised, very responsive and always offered friendly advice to us on the many decisions to make. He was very proactive, always updating us on the progress of our reno; even though our reno was at the year-end and we went away for a trip, Lavoy always kept us in the loop and the except for a minor hiccup which was rectified well, the process was seamless and stress-free. Reno took about 8 weeks, and the quality of workmanship for our carpentry, electrical works and all other works were really good and we’re looking forward to living in our beautiful home. After hearing many renovation horror stories from others, we’re really glad that our renovation was very smooth and pleasant thanks to Lavoy’s professionalism and good project management. He was really easy to work with and we’re really glad to have worked with Lavoy. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a smooth renovation journey!
Engaging Alex to renovate our maisonette was easily one of the best decisions we made. He impressed us right from the start with his professionalism, strong design sense, and practical advice that truly suited our lifestyle. Alex is very knowledgeable and gave us confidence in every decision — from layout to materials. Despite a tight timeline with public holidays, he kept the project running smoothly and on schedule. He responded to our messages quickly and always kept us updated, which made the whole process stress-free. He also has a great relationship with his workmen, and it shows — the workmanship was solid, clean, and done with care. No request was too small, and every detail was handled with patience and professionalism. On top of all that, Alex is genuinely funny and cheerful. His positive energy made meetings enjoyable and the whole reno experience a lot more pleasant than we expected. This isn’t a paid review — just honest feedback from a very happy homeowner. If you want a designer who’s reliable, responsive, and a joy to work with, we highly recommend Alex.
What made DnT stand out is their post hand-over team. The Reno itself had the expected challenges around schedule and outcomes. However, the team that took charge after hand-over is just great. They listened to our input. They took it in and worked on getting it to our satisfaction. No arguing or defending a certain contractor’s work. Just focused on matching our expectations. Want to mention *Ryan* who leads that team and goes out of his way to correct, amend, enhance the work of the contractors. Ryan and his team managed the additional work very cleanly, with minimal disruption considering we had moved in. Scheduling, execution, clean-up all done swiftly and very well. Overall it’s 5 stars thanks to Ryan’s and crew.
Ryan helped us a lot. He doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty and really solved our issues. I also want to thank the company’s dedication on the warranty. Their teams, tiler (Philip) he is very detailed and a perfectionist on his work. He is patient and very careful and polite. Plumbers are very careful and dedicated too. Ryan: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6 out of 5 stars Jun & Nat: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 out of 5 Our original IDs were Jun and Nat. However, their contractors left behind many unresolved issues. Jun wasn’t very involved. Nat really tried her best, responsive and listened to our concerns very well, but project management isn’t really her strong suit plus she is new in this industry. There were a lot of errors and even heart-stopping moments. We were left worried and concerned and had to manage the project ourselves on top of what Nat was doing. Plus their supplier Azora constantly delivered wrong items, and the staff called Jie was not responsive, this caused us to hack open the wall of our wall mount toilet and re-do due to wrong item supplied. Nat didn’t check the items and I had to check everything in details after this hard lesson. Also a lot of things mentioned and not communicated to me especially on the kitchen counter top timeline. ⭐️Then came Ryan. Ryan is an interior designer from the same firm. He stepped in and helped solve many of the issues. He is very meticulous, and his attention to detail is truly impeccable. Here’s what happened: We had a wall-mounted toilet, but the contractors from Jun and Nat left the sewer air-vent open. From the moment we moved in, we were enduring a horrible sewage stench. They couldn’t solve it and told us, “This is the first time we’ve heard of such an issue.” From them and their contractor. I was asked us to tape the sewage holes, which I clearly told them the smell is not coming from there. At the time, we didn’t know it was an air-vent problem. We just knew the smell wasn’t right. Eventually, we couldn’t take it anymore. Even though we had already made the final payment, Dots N Tots honoured their warranty and assigned us another ID: Ryan. Ryan came in and solved the issue very, very well. He’s extremely detailed, and so are his contractor teams. They carefully hacked open the wall, identified the problem, and resolved it within the timeline with proper planning and a high level of precision. Originally, our wall-mounted toilet would make noise every time we sat on it. After Ryan’s team fixed everything, the toilet became soundless, firm and steady. Huge thanks to Ryan’s contractors! Now, our master bathroom no longer smells, all thanks to Ryan and his team who handled the issue with great care and effort. I saw firsthand the attention and dedication they put into the work. Highly recommend Ryan and his team
