Patients typically begin with an initial consultation during which the physiotherapist assesses the presenting condition — whether that is post-surgical rehabilitation, musculoskeletal pain, sports injury, neurological impairment, or a workplace-related complaint. From there, a treatment plan is agreed, which may combine manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling, or other modalities depending on clinical need. Patients should clarify upfront whether they are attending on a single-session basis or purchasing a recurring package, and confirm the cancellation and no-show policy before the first appointment.

To book, reach Edge Healthcare (Orchard Forum) via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form, and have your referral letter to hand if your insurer or employer requires one for claims.

I went to Dominic as my foot pain from Achilles tendinitis and bone spurs was not getting better after months of pain and limping. Dominic listens carefully, asks the right questions and tailors each session to my pain. He also coordinated my exercises with my gym trainer so that together, they provided a combination of exercise and physio focused on healing. He also changes the therapy based on my progress and needs. Thanks to him, I have decided not to go for surgery, I can walk normally now and the pain has subsided. I would certainly recommend him.

For the past year I have been going to see Chloe for physiotherapy at Edge and she's been amazing with assisting my recovery from several injuries and procedures. The sessions have always been constructive, aligned with my goals of getting back to sport and Chloe has provided me with practical exercises that I can take home to continue with between visits. I'm very happy with the progress we've managed to make within a year and I'm now back to doing activities which I thought might be out of reach for longer. Really, she's the best physiotherapist I've ever been to! The front desk team are also legends. Super friendly, cheerful and couldn't make managing appointments any easier. Very appreciative of the whole crew at Edge and I highly recommend them.

I’ve been seeing Chloe for physiotherapy due to ongoing knee pain, and the experience has been extremely positive from the very beginning. Chloe is very thorough in her assessments and took the time to really understand my symptoms, movement patterns, and daily activities. Through her treatment, she has helped me significantly reduce my knee pain and improve my overall mobility. What really stood out to me was her attention to detail. During my sessions, she also identified tightness and issues in my shoulder that I hadn’t noticed myself. She explained how this tightness could be affecting my overall movement and worked it into my treatment plan, which made a big difference. Chloe always explains what she’s doing and why, which makes the sessions both informative and reassuring. The exercises and advice she’s given me are easy to follow and clearly tailored to my needs. I genuinely feel that she cares about my progress and long-term recovery, not just short-term relief. Thanks to Chloe’s support and expertise, I feel stronger, more confident in my movements, and better equipped to manage my pain. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, attentive, and professional physiotherapist.

I was referred to Edge Healthcare and specifically Joanne Shaw by my specialist doctor for a shoulder pain. I saw Joanne twice and in these 2 therapies, she was amazing. She combines modern physiotherapy with acupuncture but most of all, she was very experienced and was able to point out the root causes rather than treating my symptoms. Long story short, after 2 sessions and some home exercises, I'm pain free. I highly recommend Joanne as an outstanding physiotherapist and also a very caring health provider. She checks in on me during the holidays to see if I'm OK. Thank you sincerely Joanne.

I’ve been seeing Chloe for my tennis elbow treatment, and she has been nothing short of amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and skilled in what she does. Thanks to her guidance and treatment, my pain has fully recovered, and I’ve seen significant improvement throughout the sessions. Chloe not only helped me heal but also taught me how to prevent the tennis elbow from recurring, which I really appreciate. I’m truly grateful for her care and expertise—highly recommended!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Edge Healthcare (Orchard Forum) charge per session?

Physiotherapy session fees in Singapore typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session for an initial consultation and S$60 to S$150 for follow-up sessions, depending on the clinic tier and treatment complexity. Edge Healthcare (Orchard Forum) displays a '$$' price indicator, suggesting mid-range pricing, but specific session fees are not published in the listing — contact the clinic directly for a current fee schedule. Package deals are common in physiotherapy practices and may offer a lower per-session cost when you commit to a block of sessions. Confirm whether the consultation fee, any electrotherapy or modality charges, and GST are bundled or billed separately. If you are claiming through Medisave, MediShield Life, an employer group insurance plan, or a motor accident or work injury scheme, ask the clinic whether they are a panel or accredited provider before your first appointment. Do I need a referral or assessment first?

Most physiotherapy clinics in Singapore accept self-referrals — you do not need a GP or specialist letter to book a first appointment. However, a referral letter can be helpful if you intend to claim from MediShield Life, an integrated shield plan, or a corporate insurance policy, as some insurers require one to process the claim. At the first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and presenting complaint. The physiotherapist will conduct a physical assessment before proposing any treatment. Bring any relevant imaging (X-rays, MRI scans) or discharge summaries from a hospital if you have them, as these inform the clinical picture without duplicating diagnostic work. If you have a complex or post-operative condition, a referral from your surgeon or specialist helps the physiotherapist align with the broader treatment team.

Is the practitioner at Edge Healthcare (Orchard Forum) licensed?

In Singapore, physiotherapists are regulated by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Every practising physiotherapist must hold a valid AHPC registration, which is publicly verifiable on the AHPC online register at ahpc.edu.sg — search by the practitioner's name before your appointment. No regulatory licences are recorded in the current KakiList listing for Edge Healthcare (Orchard Forum). This does not necessarily indicate a problem — the clinic may hold valid AHPC-registered practitioners whose details were not submitted at the time of listing — but you should confirm the treating physiotherapist's AHPC registration number directly with the clinic before proceeding. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the AHPC public register before treatment.
