New clients typically begin with an initial consultation during which the physiotherapist takes a full history, assesses the presenting condition — whether that is a musculoskeletal injury, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, sports performance, or postural concern — and establishes a treatment plan. Subsequent sessions may be booked individually or as part of a package, and the practice can be reached via WhatsApp, phone, or an online enquiry form to discuss availability and session frequency before committing.
To get started, contact Edge Healthcare (Telok Ayer) via WhatsApp or phone to describe your condition, ask about the first-consultation format, and confirm current session fees and availability before booking.

Thank you Joe Harrison for patiently fixing my daughter's sore neck which she had been struggling with for months. He has such a great way about him, is super knowledgeable and is also great with children. Just 4 sessions and the problem has completely disappeared. I was recommended to Edge Healthcare and I will definitely be recommending their physio services to others.
Edge HealthCare has been my go to clinic for a while now, and the care has been consistently outstanding. I first saw Joe for a knee injury, and later returned after a shoulder operation. On both occasions, the approach was calm, honest, and very thorough. There was no rushing and no false promises, just clear explanations and a treatment plan that felt sensible and realistic. The focus was always on proper recovery, and it showed in the results. I’ve seen other physiotherapists and osteopaths in the past, but the Edge HealthCare team are genuinely leagues above in terms of expertise, consistency, and care. What I also really appreciate is that Edge HealthCare caters for the whole family. My daughter has seen other practitioners at the clinic, including their children’s specialists, and the experience was just as positive. She was made to feel comfortable and supported, and the care was handled with real patience and understanding. It’s clear that the team works tirelessly for their patients and genuinely wants the best outcome for everyone who walks through the door.
had a session here with aman and it was really good! saw him regarding my golfer’s elbows and he did some dry needling which was a lot more effect than i had before. he was super friendly, not did he help with the elbows themselves but also focused on my shoulders and back and talked about what may be the root cause which is v helpful for me as i continue my training. thanks aman! shoutout to the friendly front desk staff and kc as well 😬
I’ve been coming to Edge HealthCare for treatment and honestly can’t fault the experience. The service is exceptional across the board, from the front desk team right through to the practitioners. I originally booked in with Joe for long-standing neck issues that had been bothering me for years. He took the time to really understand what was going on, explained things clearly and honestly, and put together a plan that made sense rather than overpromising quick fixes. It’s obvious the team works tirelessly in the patient’s best interests, with a real focus on doing what’s right, not just what’s easy. The clinic itself is well run, appointments are organised, and communication is easy. It’s the kind of place where you feel looked after the moment you walk in. I’ve recommended Edge HealthCare (and Joe in particular) to family and friends and would happily continue to do so.
Best physiotherapy I've received in over 25 years in Singapore. Joe brought back me back to full shoulder mobility, helping avoid surgery - and provided me with a comprehensive workout across a range of weights and gym equipment that I can continue with on my own.

Edge Healthcare (Telok Ayer) has not published a specific session rate on its listing, so you will need to enquire directly for current pricing. As a general guide, physiotherapy consultations in Singapore typically run S$80–150 for a first assessment and S$60–120 for follow-up sessions at a mid-range ($$) clinic, with package rates available for multi-session bookings. Confirm whether the quoted fee covers the full session or whether manual therapy, electrotherapy modalities, or exercise prescription are billed separately. Also ask about the cancellation and no-show policy, as most physiotherapy clinics require 24 hours' notice to avoid a late-cancellation charge. See the full physiotherapy cost guide for Singapore →
A GP or specialist referral is not required to book physiotherapy in Singapore — you can self-refer directly. However, if you plan to claim under MediShield Life, an Integrated Shield Plan, or a corporate health insurance policy, your insurer may require a referral letter or a specific diagnosis code from a registered medical practitioner before it will reimburse the sessions, so check your policy wording before your first appointment. At the first visit, expect an intake assessment covering your medical history, the nature and duration of the complaint, any imaging or reports you have, and a physical examination. Bring any X-rays, MRI reports, or surgical discharge summaries, as these help the physiotherapist form an accurate picture and avoid contraindicated techniques.
Physiotherapists in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is verifiable on the AHPC public register at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by name to confirm the individual physiotherapist's registration status and that it is current. Edge Healthcare (Telok Ayer) does not list specific regulatory licences on this directory, so it is worth asking at the time of booking which physiotherapist will be treating you and verifying their AHPC registration number directly. Confirm the practitioner's licence on the AHPC public register before treatment.
