From the first moment I walked into the office at Eight Design (West Showroom), I was greeted by a cool, hip, young interior design. I am delighted to share my experience working with Vince as our interior designer. His thoughtfulness in planning and exceptional suggestions transformed my flat into a remarkably liveable and cozy space. Despite a very tight timeline and met with obstacles, he understands my concerns and is able to suggest practical solutions to address them. While there have been inevitable delays to the renovation mainly due to factors beyond our control, Vince manages to make the most of these situations. Overall, I had a pleasant experience engaging Vince as my interior designer, and I would recommend anyone to consider engaging him. Thank you, Vince for your dedication, warmth, and vision. Your work reflects sincerity, practicality, and heart, and we are so grateful for it.

Out of 5 ID companies that was given by homematch, finally after all the checks - 8Design was what we have chosen (Victor: designer/visualiser and Clement: New ideas / concept). If it's all about finding the cheapest and having to just follow instructions to do what you want then basically it is best to do it without IDs. Therefore if our idea do not work so ID is going to make it as close as to what we wanted based on our budget - not spending more, 8Design made it possible (example: 2 water tanks and 4+1 aircon units which were inspected and tested which not to replace to save money when the conditions are good to use from previous owner). Building trust through transparent with realistics communications, this has made it clearer like timeline needed is longer due to work done well then to have shortcut to complete, 8Design stated the flow without rushing. Alot of times, we proposed but at the same time, we check on the spot on the idea so the reply and solution is almost as immediate due to wide experience of projects completed. We did a full reno so there were many times that they will contact for us like the internet to fixed up relocation, water dispensor installer, check on the dimensions of the washer and dryers from Prism+ so as to do a cupboard nicely fitting both in...etc. The contractors that they have gotten did great job especially for the aircon when I needed change all pipes and coils, just to fit with the fail ceiling and gave a good will refrigerant topup and free servicing to ensure that its cooling enough. With regards to wirings, we did full re-wiring; both explain why certain place needs powerpoint and so as to not waste much money...this happened when we went to choose kitchen and toilet accessories including lights...simple maintenance and lasting looks. Most of the times, that we not not able to be at site so all times, either of them will be there to video to show us to confirm before and after done. Not to missed out on their in-house carpentry, it help to made admentments needed easier and faster (had a factory tiour too). The laminates to choose was too many and Victor insisted to provide free curve table top and on cupboard corner to children room and when choosing tiles not in the price range, still there was support granted to use 'Kit-Kat tiles in bathroom wall, without additional cost incurred. 8Design isn't the cheapest among the ID companies when we compare, there were goodwill discounts which were supports from vendors that they have find but the biggest challenge is the progressive scheme by % is very high which I hope that they will revised (20+40+35+5). Besides that I have to say that its a blessing to made the right choice to go with 8Design - thanks.

Initially was worried when looking for IDs to renovate my home. However Eight designs representatives Victor and Monday, who were assigned to my project, both put those worries to rest. They were extremely responsive and managed their contractors extremely well. The quality of their in house carpentry is also of better quality compared to what you find across the market. Absolutely comforting home designs to suit your needs and wants. They also set aside time over weekends to ensure that everything is addressed down to minor details. What was important is that they managed to over deliver on their promises which is a huge plus point. Overall would highly recommend.

We are extremely happy with the services provided by Monday and Candice. They are very attentive to our needs and pay attention to small details. They are able to provide useful and insightful guidance that more than meeting our expectation. They have strong products knowledge and selection of materials is excellent to match the design of our house. They are good in supervision of staff and coordination of the works. Candice always made sure that works were done and she came down personally to coordinate with workers, even during simple touch up work. We are very happy with the design by Monday and Candice, now my son’s room has more than enough storage space and no space is wasted and the flow of the room is great. We definitely appoint them again for our future design and renovation works.

Eight Design was the first ID company that we went for a quote followed by several other companies. We shortlist IDs based on their commitment, responsiveness & passion when delivering the end result which Ivan & Ryan surpass the expectations. They were definitely not pushy & always ready to share ideas despite knowing that we have not completed our selection of ID. Due to our busy work schedule during the day, we only managed to check emails & respond to IDs at night or weekends which I was amazed that both of them were always so responsive. Ivan & Ryan are very detailed in their work, giving valuable suggestions & understand the concept that we wanted. They are so detailed up to the lightings & fixtures in the house which in the end, we understood why when we see the outcome. It was awesome. They communicate constantly with us so that we were always informed about the progress of the renovation. When met with setbacks, they will meet us with proposals, sharing their thoughts but ultimately allow us to make the decision. They accompany us in tiles selection, provide inputs & advice on our selection to ensure the aesthetics look of the house is not compromise. Workmanship of Eight Design is impressive, of high quality & both of them will ensure job done is up to standards. They met the timeline and budget, even much earlier, giving us ample time to move in without stress. Having said that, owners have to play their part and comply to the timeline when ID request for the delivery of items. Overall, it was a hassle-free & enjoyable experience. I am incredibly pleased with the outcome of my house renovation. Ivan & Ryan are a great team, their commitment to ensure customer satisfaction truly set them apart with others. They are highly recommended especially if responsiveness is one of your criteria in ID selection
