About Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (Bugis Junction)

Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (Bugis Junction) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic located at NEX, Serangoon Central, offering TCM services across Singapore. It is KakiList-verified, and holds a 4.5/5 rating across 127 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides meaningful confidence in service quality. Patients typically begin with an initial consultation in which the TCM physician conducts a full assessment — tongue and pulse diagnosis, review of presenting symptoms and medical history, and discussion of treatment goals. Depending on the condition, treatment may involve acupuncture, herbal prescription, tui na, cupping, or a combination. Follow-up frequency varies by condition severity and treatment response. Patients should bring any existing medical reports or specialist letters to the first visit, particularly for complex or chronic conditions. It is worth confirming the availability of specific treatment modalities, the physician's area of focus, and whether recurring packages are offered alongside single-session bookings.

To make an appointment, contact Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (Bugis Junction) by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing, and confirm the consultation fee, cancellation policy, and available physician at the time of booking.

Doctor Leung is very knowledgeable. Visited 2 times because of my 9 year-old daughter’s stomachache. 2nd visit did acupuncture. Pain lessened afterwards. Thumbs up

Dr Leung from the Nex clinic is patient and knowledgeable. She is able to explain clearly my symptoms and the treatment plan for me, without any hard selling. The nurses and staff are professional too and with good service. Dr Leung accupunture skills are good as I don’t feel much pain during the session. Also after 2 sessions of accupunture and meds, my gastric improved with less bloatedness. Highly recommend Dr Leung and the nex clinic.

This is my first visit to the Eu Yang Sang TCM Clinic @ Serangoon NEX (it re-opened after renovation this week). I was warmly greeted at the reception by Ms Heng Meow Buay. She is friendly and helpful. My physician is Dr Vong U Chan. I am happy and grateful for Dr Vong as my physician. She arrested the medical condition I am currently suffering. With her advice and medicine prescription, I am feeling better physically and stronger. Ms Hong Yan, who dispenses the medication is friendly. I am very satisfied with the services of Eu Yang Sang TCM clinic. Thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (Bugis Junction) charge per session?

Per-session fees are not listed publicly and should be confirmed directly with the clinic. As a general reference, initial TCM consultations in Singapore typically run S$30–60, with follow-up consultations at S$20–40. Acupuncture sessions commonly range from S$50–120 depending on needle count and duration, and herbal prescriptions are billed separately at S$20–80 per week depending on the formula. Package pricing for recurring treatments is sometimes available at a discount versus single-session rates. Confirm the full cost — consultation, treatment, and herbal prescription — at the time of booking, and ask whether MediSave or insurance claims are accepted for eligible conditions. See the full TCM cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No formal referral is required to book a first appointment at a TCM clinic. The initial consultation itself serves as your intake assessment — the physician will conduct tongue and pulse diagnosis, take a case history, and assess your constitution before recommending a treatment plan. Bring any existing medical reports, blood test results, or specialist letters, particularly if you are managing a chronic condition or are concurrently under Western medical care. A GP referral is not mandatory but can be useful if you intend to make a MediSave claim (some approved TCM conditions require a referral letter) or if your insurer requires it for reimbursement. Patients with complex conditions — chronic pain, fertility issues, post-stroke recovery — may benefit from mentioning their diagnosis when booking so the appropriate physician is assigned.

Is the practitioner licensed?

TCM practitioners in Singapore are regulated by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. All practising acupuncturists and TCM physicians must be registered with the TCMPB, and their registration status is verifiable on the TCMPB's public online register at Ministry of Health's website. Registration requires a recognised TCM degree and completion of a supervised clinical practicum. Eu Yan Sang is an established TCM brand in Singapore; however, individual physician credentials should be confirmed at the clinic level. Ask for the consulting physician's full name and TCMPB registration number, then verify on the public register before your appointment. Confirm the practitioner's clinical focus (e.g. women's health, musculoskeletal, oncology support) to ensure it matches your needs.
