About Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (NEX)

About Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (NEX)

Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (NEX) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic located at NEX shopping mall in Serangoon Central, offering TCM consultations and treatments across Singapore. The clinic is KakiList-verified, and holds a 4.5/5 rating across 127 Google reviews — a robust sample that provides a reliable signal of patient satisfaction. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$), though specific session fees were not provided at the time of listing.

A typical visit begins with an initial consultation in which the TCM physician conducts a full assessment — tongue and pulse diagnosis, a review of your presenting symptoms, lifestyle, and medical history — before determining a treatment plan. This may involve acupuncture, cupping, tui na (therapeutic massage), moxibustion, or a prescription of herbal medicine in granule, tablet, or decoction form. Whether you are managing a chronic condition such as lower back pain, insomnia, or fertility concerns, or seeking general wellness support, it is worth confirming in advance whether the clinic's practitioners hold relevant specialisations and whether ongoing packages are available versus single sessions.

To make an appointment, reach Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (NEX) by phone or through the enquiry form, and bring any existing medical reports or referral letters to your first visit.

Doctor Leung is very knowledgeable. Visited 2 times because of my 9 year-old daughter’s stomachache. 2nd visit did acupuncture. Pain lessened afterwards. Thumbs up

Dr Leung from the Nex clinic is patient and knowledgeable. She is able to explain clearly my symptoms and the treatment plan for me, without any hard selling. The nurses and staff are professional too and with good service. Dr Leung accupunture skills are good as I don’t feel much pain during the session. Also after 2 sessions of accupunture and meds, my gastric improved with less bloatedness. Highly recommend Dr Leung and the nex clinic.

This is my first visit to the Eu Yang Sang TCM Clinic @ Serangoon NEX (it re-opened after renovation this week). I was warmly greeted at the reception by Ms Heng Meow Buay. She is friendly and helpful. My physician is Dr Vong U Chan. I am happy and grateful for Dr Vong as my physician. She arrested the medical condition I am currently suffering. With her advice and medicine prescription, I am feeling better physically and stronger. Ms Hong Yan, who dispenses the medication is friendly. I am very satisfied with the services of Eu Yang Sang TCM clinic. Thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Eu Yan Sang TCM Clinic (NEX) charge per session?

Specific session fees were not published at the time of this listing, but TCM consultations in Singapore typically run S$30–60 for the consultation itself, with acupuncture, tui na, or cupping treatments adding S$40–120 depending on the modality and duration. Herbal medicine — whether dispensed as granules, tablets, or raw decoction — is usually billed separately per week's prescription. Confirm the full per-visit cost (consultation + treatment + herbs) when booking, as well as whether recurring packages offer a discounted rate versus paying per session. Some TCM clinics also accept insurance or corporate outpatient benefits — worth checking with your insurer in advance. See the full TCM cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No GP referral is required to book a TCM consultation — you can contact the clinic directly by phone or through the enquiry form. On your first visit, expect to complete an intake form covering your current symptoms, medical history, and any medications or supplements you are taking. The physician will then conduct a tongue and pulse diagnosis as part of the standard TCM assessment. If you have existing medical reports, imaging, or blood test results relevant to your condition, bring them along — they help the physician contextualise your TCM diagnosis alongside any biomedical findings. A GP referral letter, while not mandatory, can be useful if you intend to claim against a private integrated shield plan or corporate outpatient insurance, as some insurers require it for reimbursement of TCM costs.

Is the practitioner licensed?

In Singapore, TCM practitioners are regulated by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is mandatory for anyone practising acupuncture or prescribing TCM in Singapore — you can verify any individual practitioner's registration on the TCMPB public register at moh.gov.sg before or after your appointment. Eu Yan Sang is a long-established TCM brand in Singapore; individual practitioners at the NEX clinic should be able to provide their TCMPB registration number on request. Confirming this before your first treatment is straightforward and protects you in the event of any clinical dispute or insurance claim. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
