About Express Maid & Manpower Service Centre
Express Maid & Manpower Service Centre is a maid agency operating islandwide from its Orchard Road office. KakiList has verified its operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.5/5 rating across 35 Google reviews, which represents a moderate sample. No MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence is recorded in this listing, and ACRA registration has not been confirmed — both are mandatory for a legitimate maid agency in Singapore, and prospective clients should verify the agency's licensed status on MOM's online EA directory before proceeding.
When placing a helper, expect to discuss whether you need a new-hire or transfer helper, your household's specific requirements, and source-country preferences across Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, or Sri Lanka. The agency should be able to clarify the placement fee, the helper's monthly salary (typically S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary if your household has a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm what is bundled into the package — such as mandatory FDW insurance, the Settling-In Programme, the pre-deployment medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is billed separately. Ask about the replacement guarantee window and the process should a placement not work out.
Contact Express Maid & Manpower Service Centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to discuss your household's needs — and before paying any deposit, verify the agency's MOM EA Licence number on the MOM online EA directory.
Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
Excellent service with everything done online via Whatsapp. No need to go to the agency at all and helper was dispatched to the place of employment by private hire. Very pleased with the hassle free service. Highly recommended
Initial hiring of a maid was overall quite smooth, agent was responsive and efficient. Got a transfer maid who only lasted 2 months at previous employer's house, as I wanted someone with some experience taking care of bedbound elderly. Agent told me reason maid was returned as ex-employer was OCD, and that the maid can work well. Little did I know it was the start of a bunch of problems that are mostly seen with new maids (things are still dirty after cleaning, lack of hygiene sense & basic observation skills, knocking/dropping things around the house almost everyday, damaging items, recording videos around the house, extremely forgetful/careless), not sure how this means "can do work well", when the things she damaged totalled >$1.4K so far. While agent did try several times to talk to the maid, they eventually gave up, saying it's hopeless (when I asked them to provide retraining to the maid). No effort was made to help find a replacement maid despite my request (cons). So I'm stuck with a problematic maid that adds financial and emotional stress to me. Later I found out no training was ever given to the maid (no wonder there was no difference from me training a new maid from scratch). 5 months in, I was still on high stress; by 6months, still had to constantly check her inconsistent work, make sure she does them properly, and not spoil our property. Agent remains polite throughout, but do not expect much regarding after-sales service such as retraining or effort in replacement.
The experience with Express Maid Employment Agency was very pleasant. Jess is exceptionally committed in helping us to find a suitable helper. Due to some specific requirements of our family, it was not easy to find a suitable helper even after going through many rounds of interviews. Jess is extremely patient and understanding. She went an extra mile to ensure that the employment process was smooth, and our family really appreciates that. After the helper came, Jess continues to check in with us and facilitates. She is truly committed, and we are grateful to have her as our consultant. Thank you, Jess!
The agency was very helpful in finding us the right person. We coordinated with Jess who was open to all our questions and helped us through the entire process of recruiting our helper. Jess also checked in with us for the first few months to see if everything was okay. I would definitely recommend the agency to other too.
Very good service and straight to the point. Had my helper for 7months now and she has been great. My parents in law engages this agency as well and their helper is great as well. Joyce did a lot of work to help us get the helper to suit our needs. Will strongly recommend this agency.

Placement fees vary depending on whether you are hiring a new helper or transferring one already in Singapore. New-hire placements typically cost S$1,500–3,500; transfer helpers typically cost S$500–1,500. On top of the placement fee, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience) and the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for eligible households with a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability). Confirm with the agency exactly what is included in the package — mandatory FDW insurance (typically S$300–600 per year), the Settling-In Programme, the pre-deployment medical examination, and Work Permit application are sometimes bundled and sometimes billed separately. Every legitimate maid agency in Singapore must hold a MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is publicly verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by agency name or licence number. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. No MOM EA Licence is recorded in this listing, so you must confirm the agency's licensed status directly before paying any deposit or signing any agreement. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; agencies rated A+ or A demonstrate stronger compliance records and complaint-handling processes. Engaging an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your insurance coverage. Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses carefully.
A standard replacement window at most agencies runs for six months from the helper's arrival date. Within this period, the agency typically provides a replacement at no or low additional cost if there is a documented mismatch — though what qualifies as a valid reason for replacement (and what does not) varies by contract. Ask specifically how many replacements are included and what voids the guarantee. Also clarify the early-termination process if a placement breaks down outside the guarantee window. The household is responsible for repatriation costs, refund of unused levy, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork — these expenses can be significant and are worth understanding before signing. Contact Express Maid & Manpower Service Centre directly to confirm the current replacement policy and get the terms in writing.
