Just had my first session with Chris and he is really the best! Trust me, I have seen many physio in public & private hospitals/clinics. He is practical and sincere in his approach, and provided very holistic interventions. I am so glad I met him and I look forward to my rehab sessions with him. Although it was just the first session, I already felt an improvement after his tips and help in releasing my tense muscles! Thank you so much Chris!

I was referred to Chris by my hand surgeon for physiotherapy treatment for my wrists. I found him to be professional, patient, and attentive, demonstrating a holistic approach to both assessment and treatment. Chris took time to thoroughly evaluate my condition and prescribed practical, easy-to-follow exercises. Each step was clearly explained, ensuring I performed them correctly and confidently. Thanks to Chris’ expert guidance and dedicated care, my condition has improved well. I’m truly grateful for the support received and would highly recommend Chris to anyone seeking effective physiotherapy.

Visited Chris for my chronic right shoulder/arm injury. My injury was due to bad posture of holding the computer mouse for long hours during Covid 19. I have visited many physiotherapists, TCM and sports massage who were not able to solve my chronic pain. Chris activated the muscles through gentle massage of the problematic areas and I felt instant relieve. Thank you, Chris.

Physiotherapist was a young man. The exercises provided were helpful but not challenging enough. The therapy machine did not benefit my injury. I have had better physiotherapy elsewhere.

I did my meniscus repair surgery last year and thought that that was the end of my running days. Thankfully, my doctor referred me to Chris who, together with another physiotherapist, Mr. Wong, restored me back to almost where I was before my injury, and I'm running again! Chris is very experienced and can tell what is wrong and recommend me the correct remedy exercise every session. Within weeks, I went from being on crutches to doing fast walking, swimming, and was slowly running in about three months. I am very grateful to Chris and his team at Family Care Physiotherapy Clinic for their care during my recovery period!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Family Care Physio Clinic charge per session?

Physiotherapy consultation fees in Singapore typically range from S$80 to S$180 per session at private clinics, depending on session length, the techniques used, and whether it is a first assessment or a follow-up. Family Care Physio Clinic has not published a specific price list at the time of this listing, so contact them directly for a current fee schedule. Many clinics offer packages of 6 or 10 sessions at a slightly reduced per-session rate. Ask whether materials such as resistance bands or strapping tape are included or billed separately, and confirm the cancellation or rescheduling policy before paying for a package upfront. Do I need a referral or assessment first at Family Care Physio Clinic?

You do not need a GP referral to book a private physiotherapy session in Singapore — you can self-refer directly. That said, bringing a referral letter or relevant medical reports (imaging results, discharge summaries, specialist notes) helps the physiotherapist understand your history and design a more targeted treatment plan from the outset. A referral does become useful if you intend to claim against Medisave, a corporate insurance policy, or an Integrated Shield Plan, as some insurers require a GP or specialist referral for reimbursement. Check your policy terms before the first appointment. The first session typically includes a full intake assessment, so allow extra time for it.

Is the practitioner at Family Care Physio Clinic licensed?

Physiotherapists practising in Singapore must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) under the Allied Health Professions Act. Registration is publicly verifiable on the AHPC online register at https://www.healthprofessionals.gov.sg — search by the practitioner's full name before your first appointment. No regulatory licences have been listed for Family Care Physio Clinic in the current data, so it is worth confirming the consulting physiotherapist's AHPC registration number directly with the clinic. A registered physiotherapist will be able to provide this readily. Also ask whether the practitioner holds any post-graduate training relevant to your condition, such as musculoskeletal, neurological, or sports physiotherapy certification.
