About First Select Employment Agency LLP
First Select Employment Agency LLP is a domestic helper placement agency based in Upper Changi Road, serving families islandwide. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels, though the agency does not currently appear in the ACRA registry as confirmed by our records, and holds a very small Google review sample of 5/5 across just 3 reviews — too few to draw firm conclusions.
Families enquiring about a foreign domestic worker should start by confirming whether the agency holds a valid MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by name or licence number. From there, the key decisions are whether to hire a new helper (placement fee typically S$1,500–3,500) or a transfer helper (typically S$500–1,500), the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on nationality and experience), and the monthly MOM levy — S$300 standard, or the concessionary rate of S$60 if your household has a child under 16, an elderly member aged 67 or above, or a person with disability. Confirm what is bundled into the agency fee — mandatory FDW insurance, Settling-In Programme, medical examination, and Work Permit application — versus what is charged separately. Source-country options typically include Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka, each with different salary norms and skill profiles.
Contact First Select Employment Agency LLP via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask for the EA Licence number, current helper profiles, and a full written breakdown of all fees before paying any deposit. Listing data is incomplete — contact First Select Employment Agency LLP directly to confirm details.
Verify the EA Licence number on MOM's online EA directory before paying any deposit, and read the agency contract's replacement, refund, and early-termination clauses.
A very reliable and honest maid agency. Ms Anita Koh was very professional and responsible in all her dealings from day one I met up with her at her office. Her agency has a selection of good quality maids which are far better than the ones offered by other agencies She didn’t overcharged me and gave me an honest breakdown of all expenses involved. Ms Anita Myanmar agency was very professional and they are prompt to interview the candidates I have short listed in accordance to the questions I put forth to them and send the videos interviews for my assessment and selection. The videos interviews were conducted in mandarin and english languages. Ms Anita went the extra mile and provided alternative quarantine accommodations plus meals for my maid for seven days which is much more easier and cheaper than accommodating the maid in hotels. I have tried other agency they are not half as good. While in quarantine Ms Anita diligently monitor and took the temperature of the maid and performed an ART test prior to handing over. The Myanmar maid has been with my elderly mom for more than a month now and she is very happy and satisfied with the maid’s attitude and work performance. She has initiative, good hygiene and learn fast. Kudos to Ms Anita Koh and thank you so much! We deeply appreciate your very good and honest service. Highly recommended agency..!

Placement fees vary depending on whether you are hiring a new helper or a transfer helper. New-hire placements typically cost S$1,500–3,500 through a licensed agency; transfer helpers, who are already in Singapore on a valid Work Permit, generally cost S$500–1,500 to place. Beyond the placement fee, budget for the helper's monthly salary (S$550–800 depending on source country and experience), the monthly MOM levy (S$300 standard, or S$60 concessionary for qualifying households), and mandatory FDW insurance (approximately S$300–600 per year). Ask First Select what is bundled into the quoted fee — Settling-In Programme, medical exam, and Work Permit application should ideally be included — versus billed separately. Every legitimate maid agency must hold an MOM Employment Agency (EA) Licence, which is publicly verifiable on MOM's online EA directory by agency name or licence number. The licence number should appear on the agency's website, contracts, and invoices. No MOM EA Licence is listed in First Select's current KakiList profile, so you should ask the agency to provide it directly and cross-check it on the MOM portal before paying any deposit. EA Grading runs from A+ to C; A+ and A agencies have stronger compliance and complaint-handling track records. Hiring through an unlicensed agent is illegal, leaves you with no recourse if the helper absconds or the agency closes, and can void your FDW insurance. Verifying the licence takes under two minutes and is worth doing before any money changes hands.
Standard industry practice is a replacement window of around six months from the helper's arrival date, with at least one replacement included. Confirm with First Select how many replacements are covered, what circumstances void the guarantee (for example, documented mismatch versus a change of mind), and what an additional replacement costs outside the window. Also clarify the early-termination process. If a placement breaks down after the guarantee period, repatriation flight costs, unused levy refund administration, and Work Permit cancellation paperwork typically fall on the household. Understanding these costs upfront helps you weigh the value of any extended replacement guarantee the agency may offer as an add-on.
