About Fu Kang TCM
Fu Kang TCM is a traditional Chinese medicine practice based at 301 Ubi Avenue 1, serving patients islandwide. The listing has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.3/5 rating across 22 Google reviews, a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal, though prospective patients should read individual reviews to assess fit with their condition.
Patients typically begin with a first consultation during which the practitioner conducts tongue and pulse assessment alongside a case history to understand the presenting condition and overall constitution. From there, a treatment approach is recommended — this may include acupuncture, tui na, cupping, herbal prescription, or a combination. It is worth clarifying at the outset whether you prefer a single session to assess fit or wish to commit to a recurring package, as many conditions respond better to a course of treatment than a one-off visit. Cancellation and rescheduling policies are worth confirming at booking.
To take the next step, contact Fu Kang TCM by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing to describe your condition and arrange an initial consultation appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
When I first came to Fu Kang, Xiu Xiu attended to my stiff upper back and surprisingly turned out to fix my pain. Not flattering tho, coz at least she fix my back pain. Subsequently my other visits was done by other staffs, whom I find was great as well except for one cmi. After several visits, i decided i should just fix the appt with Xiu Xiu. See photo for my last visit for lower back pain.
I came with a constant pain on my leg for several months. See several doctors who cannot help me solve my issue. I came to Fu Kang based on a friend recommendation. Physican Juli diagnosed my problem as a lower back issue and massage therapist Xiu Xiu help me with my pain. One month later, I cam safely say that my pain has resolved. Thank you!

TCM consultation fees in Singapore typically start at around S$30–60 for the assessment alone, with acupuncture, tui na, or cupping sessions ranging from S$60–120 per visit at most private clinics. Herbal prescriptions are billed separately and can add S$20–80 per week depending on the formula and dispensing method (raw herbs, granules, or capsules). Package rates for a course of treatment — commonly 6 or 10 sessions — are often available at a modest discount compared with per-session pricing. Confirm at first contact whether a first-consultation fee applies, whether it is credited toward subsequent sessions, and what the no-show or late-cancellation policy is. Fu Kang TCM's pricing displays as mid-range ($$), but precise figures should be confirmed directly before booking. See the full TCM cost guide for Singapore →
No GP referral is required to book a TCM consultation in Singapore. However, if you are claiming under an integrated shield plan, MediShield Life, or an employee healthcare benefit, some insurers require a referral letter from a Western-medicine doctor before they will reimburse TCM treatments — check your policy before your first visit. At the first appointment, expect an intake process covering your medical history, current medications, diet, sleep, and the specific complaint you are seeking help with. Certain conditions — such as pregnancy, bleeding disorders, or patients on blood-thinning medication — require the practitioner to adjust or avoid particular modalities like acupuncture. Disclosing these details upfront allows the practitioner to plan treatment safely.
In Singapore, TCM practitioners who perform acupuncture or prescribe Chinese medicinal herbs must be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. This registration is legally mandatory and publicly verifiable on the TCMPB online register at moh.gov.sg — search by the practitioner's name before booking. No TCMPB or other regulatory licence is currently listed in Fu Kang TCM's KakiList entry. This does not necessarily mean the practitioners are unregistered, but you should ask for the treating practitioner's full name and TCMPB registration number and verify it on the public register before proceeding with any acupuncture or herbal prescription. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the TCMPB public register before treatment.
