About Grand Hyatt Singapore

About Grand Hyatt Singapore

Grand Hyatt Singapore is a venue rental option located at 10 Scotts Road, offering event spaces for a range of occasions from corporate functions to wedding solemnisations. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channel. The property holds a 4.5/5 rating across 6,665 Google reviews, a robust sample that reflects consistent guest and client experience over time. Pricing is presented at the mid-to-upper range, consistent with a full-service hotel venue in the Orchard Road corridor.

Enquiries typically begin with a call or online form submission to the events or banqueting team, who will discuss your event format — standing cocktail, banquet round-table, or theatre seating — and match you to an appropriate function room or ballroom. Capacity varies significantly by layout, with cocktail configurations typically accommodating 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number. As an in-house F&B venue, Grand Hyatt Singapore sets a minimum spend per person rather than a separate hall rental fee. You will want to confirm aircon hours, A/V provisions (PA system, projector, screen, microphones, and lighting), setup and teardown access windows, parking arrangements, noise curfew, accessibility (lift, ramp, and accessible toilets), and whether a photography permit is required. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the venue is registered with the Registry of Marriages and whether a Justice of the Peace needs to be arranged separately.

To take the next step, contact Grand Hyatt Singapore's events team by phone or through the enquiry form on their website — have your event date, estimated headcount, and preferred layout format ready before the call to receive an accurate proposal.

Had the most enjoyable 2 night stay at the grand Hyatt. Room was perfect, great facilities and spent hours at the pool with my kids. There was also a lot of variety at the breakfast buffet with high quality ingredients. Service was also top tier, special thanks to Mr Boey from sales department for being extremely flexible and accommodating to last min requests. Will definitely visit again soon.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Grand Hyatt Singapore last weekend, and overall, it was a very positive experience in this newly refurbished hotel. The recent transformation really shines through—the rooms feel fresh, modern, and beautifully designed. We stayed in an Executive Suite, which was impressively spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything felt new and luxurious, making it a relaxing base right in the heart of Orchard Road. The dining options are a major highlight here. Food quality across the board is excellent, including room service, which was quick, reliable, and offered great variety. We particularly enjoyed meeting local friends for the lunch buffet at StraitsKitchen—what an impressive spread! The selection of local Singaporean dishes felt like a mini street food tour but in a comfortable, upscale hotel setting. Highly recommend reserving in advance as it’s very popular and understandably so. The only real downside was the breakfast buffet in the main restaurant. The hotel was fully packed, leading to long queues and a very crowded, rushed atmosphere that felt suffocating. Before we were seated, the staff asked if they could sit us in a big table with another group. We agreed with their assurances of sufficient space and privacy. Unfortunately, shortly afterward, they added another party right next to us (elbow-to-elbow). We then asked for better separation, and they adjusted to leave one empty seat, the choatic and hectic breakfast highlighted that the hotel could do more to accommodate all the hotel guests at peak seasons, eg open up another restaurant for breakfast may be?

We visited Singapore during Feb which happened to be Chinese new year (not that we knew) 2026 we had two rooms the premier suites with club access. We stayed there for five nights, and we never had a bad day at the hotel. Very appreciative in particular to the club staff, Azizah helped us gain early access to our rooms and was so welcoming whist we enjoyed a respite in the club. We were so impressed by the large 54m2 rooms with great views over Orchard road area. Beautiful fitout, great furnishings, spacious walk in robes and sublime bathrooms with exceptional shower. The club was our goto and the variety and quality was great with Chef Stefan and team. The service from Auni and Arby was 6 stars, Thisis, Chang, Roy all standouts. We really enjoyed our stay. The gym was world class and very excellent to use. The pool and outside oasis areas were so peaceful and enjoyable. So beautifully curated and landscaping was amazing. We could not believe we were in Orchard Road area as it was a slice of serenity. We stayed previously with Raffles and Ritz Carlton, they were fantastic but Grand Hyatt on balance with its wonderful property and ideal location close to shopping, entertainment and exceptional club team and offerings make this a stand out next time we find ourselves in Singapore. Thankyou to Auni who raced outside when we left to say goodbye that type of genuine sweetness was so touching and made our experience even more memorable. I wish I could find staff in Australia like Auni and others at Grand Hyatt Singapore. Thankyou and see you in the future.

I was very much looking forward to staying here, especially after the renovations, but felt like staying at a hotel "factory" with little care for individual guests and needs. The suite we had was an ok size, but the layout was off: the closet was tiny and badly laid out, the bathroom was ok-ish and the table was so huge it took in a lot of space of the living area. The ceilings are super low. I am almost 2m tall and believe the ceilings are 2.3m, in the bathrooms even lower. I always felt I would hit my head somewhere. The gym was great, very well equipped and large. Loved the pool and the gardens around. I just wish the hotel would keep the wellness pool as just that. There is a sign "No children below 6 years old" but since it's shallow, it is filled with children below 6 years and none of the staff cared. It was just unpleasant. The lounge was a circus, packed to the brim. I appreciated the hotel adding more space, which made it easier. Still, loads of screaming children, empty plates, empty bottles, no ice, no glasses, no more refills. This happend almost every day at breakfast and happy hour. It was just unpleasant. The location is amazing, just off Orchard Road. Loved the Christmas choir in the lobby.

Overall the stay was okay. The location is good, there are a lot of things in walking distance and public transport is also available close by. The service was lacking though. The check-in staff did a mediocre job and we waited over an hour for our luggage after check-in, which is very frustrating considering it’s an hour of our holidays just waisted by waiting. Since we just arrived in Singapore we needed to change from winter to summer clothes before we could go out, but since we didn’t have our suitcase we couldn’t change. We only got our luggage after calling the reception twice. There are drinking water dispensers on every floor, which is a nice feature. Furthermore the hotel has a pool. The rooms are modern, clean and big. But the coffee machine as well as the light for the make up mirror in our room were broken, which is disappointing considering the hefty price of this hotel. I also want to mention the technician that was very friendly, even though he’s english wasn’t the best. All in all I would comeback but only during low season. 6.5/10

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Grand Hyatt Singapore charge?

Grand Hyatt Singapore operates on a minimum F&B spend model rather than a separate hourly hall rate, which is standard for full-service hotel venues. For ballroom events, minimum spends typically run from S$8,000 to S$30,000 or more depending on the room, day of week, and event duration. Smaller function rooms may have lower thresholds. Itemise all costs before signing: the minimum F&B spend per pax, any external-caterer corkage if you bring your own supplier (though in-house F&B is standard here), extended-hours surcharges, equipment or A/V add-ons, setup and teardown access outside the contracted window, and a photography or videography permit fee if applicable. GST and service charge will apply on top of the quoted figures. See the full Venue Rental cost guide for Singapore →

What capacity and F&B policy does Grand Hyatt Singapore have?

Grand Hyatt Singapore offers multiple event spaces ranging from intimate function rooms to larger ballrooms, with capacity varying by configuration. Standing cocktail setups typically accommodate 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number for the same room, so confirm the capacity for your specific format — cocktail, banquet round-table, or theatre seating — when you enquire. As a full-service hotel, F&B is handled in-house, with a minimum spend per pax replacing a standalone hall fee. This means external caterers are generally not permitted, and any wine or spirits will be sourced through the venue. For wedding solemnisations, confirm whether the venue is a registered ROM solemnisation venue or whether you need to arrange a Justice of the Peace independently. Liquor arrangements should also be confirmed with the events team in advance.

What's the booking and cancellation policy at Grand Hyatt Singapore?

Popular Saturday evenings at hotel venues in the Orchard Road corridor book out 6 to 12 months ahead, particularly during wedding season in March, April, October, and November. A deposit — typically 30 to 50% of the estimated event spend — is required to secure the date, with the balance settled closer to the event. Confirm in writing: the noise curfew for your specific room, parking availability (either on-site or nearby paid carparks), accessibility provisions including lift and ramp access, and what happens if a force-majeure event such as a public-health restriction requires postponement. Reputable hotel venues typically allow rescheduling within a defined window without forfeiting the full deposit. A site recce during a comparable event setup is strongly recommended before signing.
