About Grand Park City Hall Rooftop

About Grand Park City Hall Rooftop

Grand Park City Hall Rooftop is an event venue rental option in Singapore, located at 10 Coleman St in the heart of the Civic District. KakiList has verified the operating details and contact channels. The venue holds a 4.2/5 rating across 1,893 Google reviews — a robust sample that reflects a consistent pattern of guest experience. Specific package pricing is not publicly listed, and enquiry by phone or contact form is the standard route to receive a tailored quote.

Prospective clients should begin by confirming the capacity for their intended event format — standing cocktail receptions typically accommodate 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number, while theatre seating sits between the two. Key terms to clarify include whether food and beverage is provided in-house only or whether an external caterer is permitted (and at what corkage rate), bar service and any applicable Liquor Licence arrangements, aircon hours, noise curfew, and soundproofing. A/V provision — PA system, projector, screen, and microphones — should be confirmed in the package. Setup and teardown access windows often fall outside the rented hours, so this should be checked early. Parking (in-house vs nearby paid carpark), lift and ramp accessibility, and the photography permit policy are also worth raising at enquiry stage.

Contact Grand Park City Hall Rooftop directly by phone or via the online enquiry form to confirm capacity for your event format, receive a full package breakdown, and arrange a site recce before committing to a deposit.

Had a really lovely staycation here. The location is super convenient only a few minutes’ walk from City Hall MRT. There are also plenty of malls nearby like Funan and Raffles City, so it’s easy to grab food, shop, or just walk around. You definitely won’t get bored staying in this area. The hotel itself is very clean, well maintained, and has a really nice atmosphere. What stood out the most was the staff. Everyone we met was friendly, kind, and very helpful. They really made us feel welcome and made sure we had a comfortable stay. We booked the Premium Club Room with lounge access and it was totally worth it. The room was spacious, cosy, and very comfortable. The lounge was a great perk too … nice place to relax and the food and drinks were really good. Overall a great staycation experience. Would happily come back again!

Firstly a shout-out to Aini, one of the lovely ladies on the front desk who helped me with a request. Definitely one of the better staff interaction I've had. And also to the staff at the lobby helping with the luggage. The best part about the hotel: - Centrally located, near plenty of shops, malls, mrt, and eateries. Walking range to Chinatown as well. - decent amenities and room (I wouldn't say five star as compared to other hotels in SE Asia, but it's decent). Probably a bit pricey, but the location is convenient. Not so good: - some of the other reviews on the ac were kinda spot on. They have this sensor thing where the ac shuts off. In the middle of the night this can be kinda annoying because you wake up in a sweat. And unless you're the type to wake up to go pee and grab a drink of water , you'll probably find this rather uncomfortable and annoying. - some of the facilities look a bit dated, the pool etc and the smallish gym. But you're in SG...so ...I'm guessing most people might not use this. The room was okay, but I got upgraded to a slightly larger room and for two people it was comfortable enough.

An excellent stay right in the heart of Singapore. The location is truly perfect — central, walkable, and close to everything, yet the hotel still feels calm and refined. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed, ideal for resting after a busy day in the city. Everything feels well thought out and elegant without being overdone. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and professional throughout the stay, which really made a difference. The rooftop pool is a lovely place to relax and unwind, and access to the Crystal Club was a real highlight — breakfast, tea time, and evening cocktails with bites made the experience even more enjoyable. A refined, easy, and very pleasant stay overall. I would absolutely return.☺️

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights in January 2026 and was left underwhelmed, particularly given the premium rate of approximately $500 per night. The staff consistently appeared unfriendly and disengaged throughout our stay. No smiles were offered, and all team members seemed visibly fatigued, which contributed to a rather unwelcoming atmosphere from check-in onward. The most significant issue, however, concerned the room's air conditioning system. While I understand and support the hotel's efforts to adopt environmentally friendly practices, the implementation of motion sensors proved highly problematic. On several occasions, including after brief 15-minute absences, we returned to a noticeably hot and uncomfortable room because the system had deactivated due to a lack of detected movement. This became particularly intolerable at night. Despite remaining in bed and attempting to sleep, the air conditioning repeatedly switched off because the sensors failed to register minimal motion during rest. The result was a stifling environment that severely disrupted sleep, one of the most uncomfortable nights I have experienced in a hotel. When we raised this with reception staff, the response was one of confusion rather than resolution; the staff member appeared surprised that guests would expect continuous cooling while sleeping, which seemed dismissive of a basic comfort expectation. At this price level in Singapore, where numerous higher-rated properties offer reliable climate control and more attentive service, I regret to say that better alternatives are readily available. I would not recommend this hotel to others seeking consistent comfort and value for money.

Not a 5 star experience. For a family room it was very small. By the time the sofa bed was pulled out and 4 suitcases there was practically no floor space. Not suitable as a family room in my opinion. Breakfast was very average for a supposedly 5 star hotel with buffet style layout with fewer options than previous hotels visited. Consierge were polite and helpful but reception were awkward and whilst checking in over the 10 minute period she only spoke to say welcome and then direct us to our room. Also charged for local calls which I thought was outrageous considering 2 other hotels I stayed in these were free. The pool and roof top terrace was nice although the pool did get crowded and the bar there was never open during the day when we visited. Overall I would not recommend this hotel, whilst its location was great, the rooms were small and did not compare well with other 5 star hotels we have stayed at. I would definitely look elsewhere

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Grand Park City Hall Rooftop charge?

Grand Park City Hall Rooftop does not publish a fixed rate list publicly, so pricing is confirmed on enquiry. As a general Singapore market reference, function rooms typically run S$100–500 per hour with a 2–4 hour minimum, while rooftop and premium event spaces tend to be packaged on a per-event basis — small to mid-sized venues typically S$1,500–8,000 for a half-day, with full-day or premium spaces running higher. Itemise what is included before signing: aircon hours, basic A/V (PA, projector, screen), on-site staff, cleaning fee, and setup and teardown access. Common add-ons include external-caterer corkage (typically S$3–8 per pax), liquor corkage if BYO, extended-hours surcharges (typically 1.5×–2× outside the stated curfew), and photography or videography permit fees. See the full venue rental cost guide for Singapore →

What capacity and F&B policy does Grand Park City Hall Rooftop have?

Capacity varies by event format — standing cocktail receptions typically accommodate 1.5 to 2 times the banquet seated number, with theatre seating falling between the two. Contact the venue directly to obtain the floor plan and confirm the layout options for your specific event. For food and beverage, clarify whether the venue operates in-house F&B only, permits an external caterer (with or without corkage, and whether an approved-caterer list applies), or allows BYO with a bottle corkage fee (typically S$15–30 per bottle for wine, higher for spirits). In-house F&B venues usually set a minimum spend per pax in lieu of a hall-hire charge. If you are planning a wedding solemnisation, also confirm whether the venue is registered as a ROM solemnisation venue or whether a separate Justice of the Peace arrangement is required.

What's the booking and cancellation policy at Grand Park City Hall Rooftop?

A deposit of typically 30–50% of the event package value is standard to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Popular Saturday evenings in Singapore's wedding season — March to April and October to November — tend to book out six to twelve months ahead, so early enquiry is advisable for those dates. Before paying the deposit, confirm the noise curfew (typically 10–11pm for venues in or near residential-adjacent areas), parking arrangements, and accessibility provisions including lift, ramp, and accessible toilet availability. Ask what happens in a force-majeure situation — reputable venues typically allow rescheduling within six to twelve months without forfeiting the deposit. A site recce before committing is standard practice and recommended. See the full venue rental cost guide for Singapore →
