Patients typically begin with an initial consultation in which the TCM practitioner takes a detailed case history, assesses tongue and pulse presentation, and identifies patterns according to TCM diagnostic principles. Treatment may involve acupuncture, tui na, cupping, moxibustion, or prescribed herbal formulae depending on the presenting condition and the practitioner's clinical judgement. Frequency of follow-up sessions is usually discussed at the first visit, with some conditions requiring weekly attendance over several weeks while others may resolve in fewer visits. It is worth confirming the practitioner's registration with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) before your appointment.
To book a consultation at Great Wall TCM, reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on their profile. Mention your presenting condition or health goal when making contact so the clinic can allocate appropriate consultation time.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Highly recommend Kim. Her TCM massage is professional, attentive, and very effective. She quickly understands where the tension is and applies just the right pressure. I always leave feeling relieved, relaxed, and well taken care of. I love coming here!
Honestly did not expect to be writing a glowing TCM review, but here we are. I reached out to Great Wall TCM over WhatsApp about some strained arm movements and had an appointment locked in within the hour. My office is nearby so it was incredibly convenient, but even if it was not, I think I would still have made the trip. I was attended to by Dr Kang Li, and she was genuinely lovely. It was my first time doing cupping and I was a little nervous, but she was really patient and kept checking in throughout the session to make sure I was okay. If I needed a moment to breathe or things to slow down, she would adjust without making it a big deal. That kind of attentiveness really puts you at ease, especially when you are new to the whole thing. My Chinese is not the best but that was never a barrier. She understood everything I was trying to communicate and I never once felt lost or awkward about it. I went in not knowing what to expect and came out already thinking about my next appointment, which honestly says it all. If you have been on the fence about trying TCM, this is a pretty good place to start.
Physician Beh is experienced, patience and consultative physician. Diagnostic and acupuncture skill is good as she is spot-on with my explanations and helps me to recover from my cough, relieve my back injury aches and arm-shoulder joint pain too. Would strongly recommend her for others with similar issues.
Had an great experience at Great Wall TCM Family Clinic! Dr. Zhang was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, taking the time to carefully check my strain neck and explain my treatment plan. The acupuncture session by Dr Zhang was effective - felt much better neck movement after treatment. The staff are friendly and professional too. Highly recommend for anyone seeking TCM treatments in Redhill!" 👍

Great Wall TCM is priced at the mid-range tier ($$), but specific per-session fees were not published at the time of this listing. As a general reference, TCM consultations in Singapore typically run S$30–80, acupuncture sessions S$50–120, and herbal medicine prescriptions S$30–100 per week depending on the formula. Package pricing for ongoing conditions is common and usually offers a modest saving over paying per visit. Confirm the first-consultation fee, any diagnostic surcharge for a new patient, and whether herbal prescriptions are included or billed separately before your appointment. No-show and late-cancellation policies vary by clinic, so it is worth asking at the time of booking. See the full TCM cost guide for Singapore →
No formal referral is required to book a TCM consultation — you can contact Great Wall TCM directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form. At your first visit, the practitioner will typically conduct a full intake covering your presenting complaint, medical history, current medications, and lifestyle factors. Some conditions (for example, pregnancy, bleeding disorders, or patients on blood thinners) carry contraindications to certain TCM modalities such as acupuncture or cupping, so disclose all medications and health conditions upfront. If you intend to claim through an integrated shield plan or Medisave for specific conditions, a GP referral letter may strengthen your submission. Medisave can be used for certain TCM acupuncture treatments at registered clinics — confirm with Great Wall TCM whether they are a participating provider before your appointment.
In Singapore, TCM practitioners — including acupuncturists and those prescribing Chinese herbal medicine — must be registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB) under the Ministry of Health. Registration is verifiable on the TCMPB public register at moh.gov.sg. No regulatory licences were listed in this profile at the time of publication, so it is advisable to confirm the named practitioner's TCMPB registration number directly with the clinic before treatment. Great Wall TCM is KakiList-verified, and its 4.9-star rating from 828 Google reviews is a strong patient-experience signal. Nevertheless, verifying the individual practitioner's credentials on the TCMPB register is the definitive step before commencing any course of treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the TCMPB public register before your first session.
