It is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channel. Families interested in enrolling should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as popular playgroup sessions can fill quickly. When you contact the centre by phone or via the enquiry form, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the structure of a typical session, and the settling-in period for younger children. It is also worth asking whether the programme is registered with ECDA, as this affects eligibility for government subsidies available to Singapore citizen children. Bring your child along for a centre visit where possible so you can observe the environment and meet the lead facilitator before committing.

Came on a Saturday morning and it was not too crowded even though there was a birthday party happening. Comfortable place, soothing colour scheme, plenty of spots for parents to sit while kids play. Our kids loved the hinoki beads area. There's a large "supermarket" and playkitchen, and even a camping ground "outside". Super fun!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was not too crowded. It's a clean and spacious playground. My girl really enjoys herself here with so many play areas and toys to explore! The playground offers a very good balance between energetic and quiet, focused play. Staff are friendly and took initiative to clean and tidy up the play areas regularly. Diaper change station and toilets are located near the entrance which was very convenient. Too bad it's just going to be an occasional treat for my girl due to the cost and less accessible location. 😉

Brought our nieces here and loved the place! Very clean and welcoming. We especially had a lot of fun at the sand pit. Raiin was the staff attending to us and her service is world class. Thank you so much!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Gymboree Play & Music" charge per month?

Gymboree Play & Music displays a moderate price point for its playgroup sessions. The published pricing tier is mid-range for Singapore playgroup programmes. In addition to the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-off registration fee, a refundable deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months of fees), and any charges for uniforms or insurance coverage for the child. Childcare and playgroup fees at ECDA-registered centres are GST-exempt, so you should not be charged GST on tuition fees. Always request a full fee schedule in writing before signing any enrolment contract. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at "Gymboree Play & Music"?

Government subsidies for childcare and playgroup programmes in Singapore are administered by ECDA and are generally available only at ECDA-registered centres. For eligible Singapore citizen children, the Basic Subsidy can offset up to S$300 per month for childcare, with the Working Mother's Child Development Subsidy (WMS) providing additional support where the mother works 56 or more hours per month. An Additional Subsidy of up to S$710 per month (combined with WMS) is available on an income-tested basis. Permanent Resident children may qualify for partial subsidies. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so families should verify the current figures directly with ECDA before enrolment. Contact Gymboree Play & Music to confirm whether the programme is registered with ECDA and therefore subsidy-eligible.

Is there a waitlist at "Gymboree Play & Music"?

Playgroup slots at well-regarded centres in Singapore can be in high demand, particularly for programmes that run on a fixed weekly schedule. It is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date. January is traditionally the busiest intake month, aligning with the start of the school year, so slots for that period tend to be secured earliest. To hold a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and, in some cases, a deposit. Reach out to Gymboree Play & Music directly by phone or via the enquiry form to check current availability for your preferred session time and start month.
