About HANIS Montessori

About "HANIS Montessori"

HANIS Montessori is a playgroup provider located in Tampines, operating islandwide and verified by KakiList. The centre is listed at a mid-range monthly price point ($$). With only 3 Google reviews at the time of writing, the current rating of 3.3 out of 5 should be treated as directional only and not taken as a reliable measure of overall quality.

Families considering HANIS Montessori should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as playgroup places can fill quickly. When you make contact, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, and the settling-in approach for young children joining the programme. It is worth visiting the centre in person to get a feel for the environment before committing. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask about eligibility for ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce the monthly fee depending on household income and the mother's employment status.

To take the next step, reach out to HANIS Montessori via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current vacancies for your child's age group and to arrange a centre visit. Listing data is incomplete — contact "HANIS Montessori" directly to confirm details.

I would not recommend sending your child to Hanis montessori Kindergarten based on my personal experience and observations throughout the year of 2025 .. I monitored closely, in hope that the school, teachers and staff will improve, however the communication was getting weaker and worst. As a parent, I feel it's important to share my concern and experience, because the "updates" shared by the teachers did not reflect what we observed. I remember asking one of the staff during water-play at Tampines Hub, the teacher simply replied "we will let your child sit at a corner if he refused to join" .. This is simply raised my serious concern and care .. so the photo updates did not seem genuine or reflective of my child's daily classroom activities .. I endured 1 whole year with this experience but I refused to withdraw my child because the fees were auto deducted 2-3month ahead and I simply refused to deal with money refunds and all as I believe that the teachers will somehow improve .. Regret this is not happening .. The teachers often appeared tired and disengaged .. Lastly, we also had an ongoing issue with our deposit refunds. emails sent to their management and finance teams, unfortunately, no one got back to us. Overall this is not a positive and trustworthy experience for us. I strongly advise parents to think twice before enrolling your child here in Hanis Montessori Kindergarten, Tampines

An Islamic pre-school and kindergarten where it teaches English, Malay and Arabic. It provides homework every week that serves as a revision of what the kids learnt in school for the week.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "HANIS Montessori" charge per month?

HANIS Montessori is listed at a mid-range ($$) monthly recurring fee, though the exact figure is not publicly displayed. When you enquire, ask for the full breakdown including any one-time registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any costs for uniforms or personal accident insurance. Childcare fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly amount quoted should be the amount you pay. It is advisable to request a written fee schedule before signing any enrolment agreement so there are no surprises after your child starts. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at "HANIS Montessori"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled in a licensed childcare centre may qualify for the Basic Subsidy (up to S$300 per month for childcare), as well as the Working Mother's Child Relief Subsidy for mothers working 56 or more hours per month. The Additional Subsidy is income-tested and can bring the combined subsidy total to up to S$710 per month for lower-income families. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum. Note that HANIS Montessori does not currently list an ECDA licence. Subsidies are only claimable at ECDA-licensed centres, so you should confirm directly with the centre whether it holds or is applying for the relevant licence before factoring subsidies into your budget calculations. Subsidy amounts are subject to change — visit the ECDA website for current figures and eligibility criteria.

Is there a waitlist at "HANIS Montessori"?

For playgroup places in Singapore, it is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date, particularly for the January intake which is the most competitive period of the year. Popular centres can fill their cohorts well in advance. To secure a place, most providers require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact HANIS Montessori directly via phone or the online enquiry form to check current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month. Asking about their waitlist policy — including whether deposits are refundable if a place does not become available — is also recommended before committing any funds.
