We had an exceptional experience working with Johnson on our home renovation. As first-time renovators, we were initially uncertain about the process, but Johnson guided us every step of the way, making everything feel smooth and manageable. We engaged Jayne from Happe Design Atelier for our renovation and we’re extremely happy with the entire experience. Jayne is responsible, attentive and professional, with a meticulous eye for design and detail. What really stood out was how hands-on she was throughout the entire project. She personally went down to site frequently to check progress and keep us updated. Because she took ownership of the coordination, the whole process was extremely fuss-free for us. We didn’t have to manage contractors ourselves and could even go overseas during the renovation knowing everything was being handled properly. Her updates were timely, clear and transparent, and she often pointed out details we wouldn’t have noticed. Overall, Jayne made the renovation journey smooth and stress-free with her professionalism, care and attention to detail. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a designer who truly takes responsibility and prioritises both the process and the final outcome.

I would say I’m incredibly lucky to have found this interior design firm. After searching for quite a while, many firms either quoted extremely high prices, didn’t really pay attention to what I wanted, or had hidden charges that were not transparent unless I asked. If you’re ever in doubt about choosing Happe Atelier Design, I would say it’s a no-brainer decision. First of all, I met the friendly and attentive boss, Kelvin. He was so warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped into the firm, which immediately made me feel comfortable and confident. Secondly, my lovely designer David, omg… he is truly a master. I only showed him a few concepts and ideas, and from those small inputs, he managed to translate everything into drawings that completely blew me away. I was honestly stunned because, from our very first meeting, he fully understood my vision for my home. The best part is that he genuinely listens and gives honest, practical advice on whether something is worth doing or not. He even paid attention to the smallest details, from the number of power points to how I move around each corner of the house. Without him, I wouldn’t have achieved the “wow” effect that every single friend and family member experiences when they step into my home. Of course, not forgetting Ching Long, the best project manager ever. He managed the entire project smoothly and handed over on time, with proactive follow-ups day and night. Most importantly, he was extremely responsive, which was such a relief compared to my past experiences dealing with site project managers. What really stood out was their commitment to quality. I still remember how they were willing to redo work if it wasn’t up to standard, and Ching Long would not proceed with handover if the contractors didn’t meet his expectations. The after-handover service is truly world-class. Unlike many firms that go missing after full payment, Happe Atelier Design continued to provide support and care. This is honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, choosing them to create this lovely, homely crib for myself. Thank you again, Happe Atelier Design, for changing my life and my home for the better.

TLDR version: Jayne is the best ID one could ever ask for! She was sincere and responsible throughout the entire renovation journey. Detailed version: My wife and I engaged HDA Studio for our renovation after comparing five different IDs. We eventually decided to go with Jayne because she came across as sincere and creative in understanding our needs. The whole renovation journey was quite smooth, thanks to Jayne’s meticulous coordination and project management. Since I was working abroad during this period and only had limited time in Singapore to make design decisions, I really appreciated how flexible she was in adjusting the schedule to fit my availability. Of course, there were some small hiccups along the way (as with any renovation), but Jayne always proposed practical alternatives, kept us updated, and went the extra mile to make sure things turned out well. Looking back, choosing Jayne was definitely one of the best decisions we made. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to build their dream home.
