Families typically begin by reaching out via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check nanny availability for their expected due date. As demand for experienced confinement nannies is high, especially around the Lunar New Year period, it is advisable to enquire several months ahead of your due date. During the booking process, you would normally discuss the 28-day standard engagement (some providers also offer a 56-day option), whether the nanny will be live-in or day-only, food preferences and dietary traditions such as Cantonese or Hokkien herbal soups and confinement dishes, and any specific overnight newborn care requirements. Arrangements around sleeping space, meal preparation expectations, and house rules are best agreed in writing before confirming the booking.
To take the next step, contact Hatched Confinement Oasis via WhatsApp or phone to check nanny availability for your intended start date and request a detailed breakdown of what is included in the package.
Interview the nanny before booking, agree the food and overnight terms in writing.
As a first-time mum who went through an emergency C-section, choosing the right confinement centre was extremely important for our recovery and peace of mind. We sent our baby girl and stayed at Hatched Confinement Center, and the experience was truly wonderful. The quality of care from the nurses, nannies, and nursery team was exceptional. They were thoughtful, patient, and responsive to our needs 24/7. Daily vital checks were conducted diligently to ensure both mummy and baby were well taken care of. As new parents who knew almost nothing about parenting, we felt completely supported and guided every step of the way. We also appreciated the structured support during our stay — newborn care classes and lactation consultations by Nurse Manager Gaya were incredibly helpful in preparing us for parenthood. The wound care support after my C-section was attentive and reassuring, which made recovery much smoother. Food was another highlight. Every single day was a pleasant surprise — new dishes, nutritious, beautifully prepared, and most importantly, delicious. It never felt repetitive and truly supported postpartum recovery. The location is also a big plus — right in the heart of Orchard Road, a stone’s throw from Wisma. It made it very convenient for visiting family members and for daddy to grab meals or run errands. A special shoutout to Diora and the entire team for going above and beyond. They were caring, responsive, and always ready to help. The 24/7 communication line gave us so much reassurance. We could also check on our baby anytime via CCTV and do bonding sessions whenever we wanted. I chose to bond with my baby during the day while resting properly at night to recover, knowing she was safe and well cared for in the nursery. For new parents looking for a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment — Hatched truly delivers. We’re so grateful for the experience.
I had a very positive experience at Hatched. My main criteria when choosing a confinement center were baby care, mom care, and location. Baby care: The owners and nannies are very dedicated, and we could truly feel the care they showed our baby. As new parents, they patiently guided us through bathing, feeding, and nappy changes. Baby's jaundice level was also checked daily. Overall there are strong SOPs for baby care, which gave us great reassurance. Mom care: The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a kitchen and laundry facilities that made it easy for my mom to cook and supplement my confinement meals. The team was very accommodating of my allergies and gluten-free diet, and I believe it is one of the better menus one can expect outside of home-cooked food. The nurses conducted regular check-ins, including blood pressure monitoring and provided helpful lactation / breastfeeding support. Location: The central location was convenient for the occasional paediatrician visits and for us to host visitors. With Orchard MRT just at our door step, commuting to work was a breeze for my husband. Overall, I was able to get the rest I needed because I fully trusted the team with my baby. I would recommend Hatched to other parents looking for a supportive and comfortable confinement environment (and a chance to stay in the heart of Orchard!).
We had such a wonderful experience at Hatched. My key considerations when choosing a confinement centre were space, professional baby care, and support for traditional Chinese confinement practices without the stress of a live-in nanny. Hatched checked all the boxes perfectly. From the moment we arrived (well before check-in), the team was efficient and welcoming. Our apartment was spotless and ready, with housekeeping included and easy to arrange whenever needed. The location is also unbeatable — just behind ION and Wisma, making visits from family and food runs for my husband so convenient. The nannies and nurses were amazing. They are professional, caring, and genuinely love the babies in their care. As first-time parents, we were constantly worried, but the team was always there to guide us. Daily consultations with Gaya (lactation consultant and registered nurse) gave me confidence in my recovery and breastfeeding journey. Baby classes also ensured we were well-prepared before heading home. Meals were thoughtfully curated, nourishing, and delicious — I especially looked forward to the freshly prepared daily breakfast. Portions were more than generous! Overall, this was the best investment of my pregnancy. I could rest and recover fully, knowing my baby was in excellent hands. My husband could also save his paternity leave for when we returned home, which was a huge bonus. By the time we left, we felt ready and supported as new parents. I can’t recommend Hatched enough — I even joked with my husband that we should have baby #2 just so I can come back again!
We had a wonderful stay at Hatched Confinement Centre Singapore. Such a convenient location with Wisma and Takashimaya downstairs. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, making us feel supported from day one. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and perfect for rest, and the meals were delicious and thoughtfully prepared(extensive) for recovery. The nannies were incredibly professional yet warm, always attentive to both baby’s needs and the mother. Their knowledge gave us so much confidence as a new parent, especially with breastfeeding support, newborn care, and helping us ease into a proper routine. My wife left feeling confident, well-rested, and truly cared for. Very sure our baby boy was also delighted with the first class service. Highly recommended for any new mum looking for a smooth and nurturing confinement experience.
My good friend did her confinement at Hatched and I was invited to stay in with her for 2 weeks since she had a spare room. Location was good as the apartment is located just behind Wisma. Its an apartment with 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and fully equipped kitchen. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Whenever my friend texted them for assistance like cleaning her pump parts, the staff came quite fast and brought them for cleaning and sterilisation, then they would send back when the pump parts were cleansed. They served her quite a couple of meals each day, including tea time and supper. Portions were more than enough for 1 person, so sometimes my friend shared the dishes with me. Can also see how the baby was doing in the nursery from my friend's phone, if the baby was not with us in the room. The staff are all helpful - my friend was having problem breast-feeding the baby and the lactation nurse came to guide her. As a visitor, I also get to enjoy the facilities like swimming and gym. We can also enjoy the coffee from the lobby during weekdays. A few times I walked to Takashimaya's supermarket to buy some groceries back to cook my meals and shared with her family. Like a staycation for us! Can see my friend and her cute baby were well taken of by Hatched team! Thank you for making my friend's first confinement an enjoyable one!

Hatched Confinement Oasis prices its services as a package, indicated at the S$$ range. In the broader Singapore market, a standard 28-day confinement nanny package typically runs between S$3,500 and S$6,500, depending on the nanny's experience, whether the arrangement is live-in or day-only, and whether confinement food is included or billed separately. A 56-day engagement, where available, is priced proportionally higher. Before confirming, clarify exactly what is bundled — overnight newborn care, baby bathing, herbal soup preparation, and mother's recovery meals are commonly included in full packages, but arrangements vary. Confirm the full cost and all inclusions in writing. See the full confinement nanny cost guide for Singapore →
Booking at least four to six months before your due date is strongly recommended. Experienced confinement nannies are frequently booked six to twelve months in advance, particularly for popular periods such as the months following Lunar New Year. Availability can tighten quickly, and last-minute bookings carry the risk of settling for a less-than-ideal match. Use the initial enquiry to discuss food preferences — whether you prefer a Cantonese, Hokkien, or other dietary tradition — as well as the nanny's approach to overnight care and any specific dietary restrictions or herbal soup recipes important to your family. Agreeing these details early reduces friction once the nanny arrives.
Confinement nanny training and certification standards in Singapore are not regulated by a single government body, so experience, referrals, and any informal accreditation vary between individual nannies. When enquiring, ask specifically about the nanny's years of experience, the number of confinements she has completed, and any relevant training in newborn care or postnatal recovery. For agency-placed nannies, a replacement policy is typically part of the engagement — confirm the replacement window, how many replacements are permitted, and what circumstances qualify. Freelance nannies booked directly may offer lower fees but come with less formal recourse if the arrangement does not work out. Whichever route you choose, interview the nanny before confirming the booking and agree all key terms in writing.
